TBAR is a joke. I'm a itsotpobh kinda guy, believe no ITK because in reality even if they do have connections, things change very quickly in football and involve so many different parties. There are always more than one side to any story. ITKers are often fed information knowing full well it will get fed to the internet or media, so clearly that puts them in a compromised position. Also being ITK gives a certain amount of cultural currency, why not embellish or guess occasionally?

True inside agents are rare, because often it is not in the best interests of someone with access to a lot of important information to leak it.

I'll be sitting this summer out as I have the last few, treat reports with 'trusted' sources with disdain and believe only in direct quotes. Which I hope we get soon for the sanity of everyone on here.

Hearing that the Wi-Fi in Villa Park has just broken. Randy has been on the phone to Virgin but the earliest they can get an engineer out is Wednesday, therefore the statement is likely to be delayed.

Anyone else get the impression Paul doesn't like this kid? He says that "he still has an absolute mile to go" but with other players like Benteke he says that "he could be anything he wants to be" . I just get the feeling that Lambert is only playing these kids (him and Robinson) because he feels he's pressurised into playing them.

 

He played Robinson already earlier on this season in the League Cup, probably would have got more game time too if we had managed to stay in it longer.

 

Jack is a few years younger than Benteke yet and went straight into the Premier League with a fair bit more experience than Jack currently has. People seem to pick up on these comments far too often, it really is just simple man management. Do we want Jack mixing with the wrong bunch, getting an inflated ego and so on? Of course not, he genuinely does have miles to go and he needs to know that, but it isn't necessarily negative for him to be told this and I'm actually pretty positive that Jack knows it himself.

I think the lad is ready. He came on versus Man C touched the ball about 3 times and I think he won 2 free kicks? He's better than what we currently he have.

Jack was the one with the 100% passing accuracy (out of 5 passes).

In someways I don't want him to leave because I know that he will go elsewhere and be successful. He is a good manager. You don't get successive promotions with a team and then keep them in the premier league for a couple of seasons by not being a good manager. He must have some tactical nous. I know at some points this season it may have seemed like he had lost the plot but perhaps that's because the players that he's had available are really that bad. He's has a shoestring budget to buy lots of cheap players to pad out the squad a bit because just think if he'd have spent £20m on one player for him to only get injured, we would've had to field a really weak side, even more weak than the current one.

Having lived in Bournemouth and walked around sandbanks a few times, there are varying sized plots of land there and quite a few which you coul dbarely say were Sandbanks. He is a wannabee, and as my 2 year old would say, a big head.

Do you know him? Have you met him? I have on numerous occasions and been down to Sandbanks on numerous occasions to meet him on business. The guy loves the club as much as the next guy. Not sure why we have to resort to chastising our fellow Villa fan on here. Also, it's douche.

Yes I agree that it's a bit harsh, but I can't help but think he's a bit of a tool. On twitter he's constantly filling up my timeline with him tweeting random people about his articles that he's wrote asking them to read them. Just comes across as being very self important and an attention seeker. I'm not going to unfollow him because I may miss something because I don't doubt that he does have good contacts.
