From Law 7:
- [*:d89fb964b6] Players are entitled to an interval at half-time.
[*:d89fb964b6] The half-time interval must not exceed 15 minutes.
[*:d89fb964b6] Competition rules must state the duration of the half-time interval.
[*:d89fb964b6] The duration of the half-time interval may be altered only with the consent of the referee.
Knew i must have been right! refereeing brings great knowledge!
Oh well - it was a nice idea. I hope everyone stays to give him the reception he deserves then.
Now that I've quit my job I might see if I can get up to that one.
Whats meant by 'previous booking record'? How many games does it have to be?
Depends on the competition, I believe that the premierhship carries through the whole competition
What I mean is - for me, being in full time education, having a part-time job and living 100 miles away from VP - obviously my trips up to see the boys are a little more sporadic than I'd like them to be.
I managed to get up to the Spurs match last season, will that entitle me to get a ticket for the United match on the 23rd for which a 'previous booking history' is required?

Darren Bent won't be playing for Charlton in August regardless of what they do but TBH I expect that in February - he will.

-i was surprised and delighted when an old girlfriend called out of the blue last week. She was a real wild child when we were together - stunning to look at and great in bed! We had sex in every position and my heart raced when she asked if we could meet up to create our best moves. I warned her that my waist line had grown and i wasn't the hunk i once was. She giggled and told me that she'd put on the odd pound or two as well. So i told her to **** off.

yeah reporting of a straight swap with Griffin and Hendrie... wed be getting ripped off if that was the case.
Not quite as badly as Portsmouth, who actually own Andy Griffin.
Perhaps we'll ofer them Petrov and Barry in an attempt to tease hiim away.

I think FIFA regulations state that half time must be a minimum of 15 minutes but there's no maximum. We could have Ron on at half time and then some extra minutes for food/drink/slash/cigarette as well. Plus it would piss off the mancs.

So an atteacking player like Walcott goes for £5 million
That might have been the upfront payment but i'm pretty sure the overall figure for Walcott is around £12million
-
I think what he actually said was that he'd be looking for longer term signings to improve the team but wasn't worried about getting players in to bolster the squad ion short term deals if he had to.
-
If there is any truth in this then it's probably MON covering his arse in case he can't get a proper RB in January and needs cover for Hughes. I expect he'll want to replace Hughes but if players aren't available then Griffin could be short-term cover so we don't have to keep shipping Mellberg out to the right.
Having said all of that, I REALLY don't expect to see him in claret and blue.
-
Except the Camp Nou is a hell of a lot bigger than VP.
-
General,
I would like to reiterate the need to explore the possibility of replacing the official club commentator. I'm not going to go into his faults now (there are too many to list - but primarily he fails to actually commentate). Whilst this is obviously a minor issue in comparison to playing/marketing/ticketing issues I still would hope it does not go unnoticed.
Regards,
Patrick.
-
I wouldn't.
This is silly.
-
or the option you've left out
5) He thinks he can get someone better/more value for money.
-
If he becomes available, bigger clubs than us will be in for him. He will be going to a Man Utd/Chelsea/Milan/Lyon level of club, not a Villa level of club.
Simple as that.
Well I'm afraid I just don't agree with that.
Fair enough. I am willing to put a large amount of money on the fact that Huntelaar will not be a Villa player any time in the next 2 years :winkold:
Blimey, you're betting you're mortgage on 1 thread and 'a large amount of money' on the other.
Well, I'll take the money if your wrong :winkold:
If we don't sign him (which we probably won't) then it'll not be because we're not big enough for him. (IMO of course).

Please extrapalate.

Is Klaas-Jan Huntelaar rumoured to be Villa target at all?
Only in some people's wishful thinking
I've been suggesting him for a while.
Not an unrealistic target.
-
how come the lucas neill thread was moved, but the defoe one wasn't? even though they both don't have any quotes?
Because the Defoe one has now been turned into another pointless Angel argument, and they are very highly valued.
-
Surely SWP is an possible option. SSN are reporting today that he could be one his way back to Man City or go to West Ham. Surely we have a realistic chance of signing him if he is interested in moving elsewhere.
He is probably going to cost £10 million, Is he really twice the player Milner is.
Give me Milner any day of the week. MON will make him a better player.
He has got that little bit of extra quality that costs more because it is less abundant! eg. Is Ronaldinho twice as good as Rooney? One will cost £70m the other around £35m but he ain't twice as good.
The point your making is valid but thats a bad example on both fronts, I'd take Rooney over Ronaldinho and I think that Rooney (not for sale at any price) would cost nearer £60million than 35 and Ronaldinho (not for sale at any price) about the same.
-
Queresma is a top player but would he come to us?
-
Definately United. I don't actually mind them at all, but I Chelsea I really dislike.
-
If O'Neill thinks Berer is a trouble maker, then I think Bellamy is a no-no
Had him on loan for a few months at Celtic though.
And thats the only reason that this link has been made. Absolute bollocks IMO.

Vanden Borre for right back?
He must be getting sick of playing in Belgium. Good youngster, work him in to be our new RB.
is he actually any good though, or you just basing that on football manager 2006? :winkold:
Football Manager 2007 actually. :winkold:
No, to be fair I have seen him play a couple of times and he seems like a very decent player. Likes to get forward ALOT. Young too...
