  1. Intresting stuff, trying to guess peoples age from their posts is tough, Well I'm 17 and loving the girls (and the girls r loving me :winkold: ) when do you reckon a female peaks (on average)? (that could be a new thread by itself actually)... Also how old is JC, I can't guess that one for the life of me?

  2. I'm just interested to know what sort of age range we have on this website. I've done nice broad categories and ofcourse it's anonymous unless you wish to disclose to the unenlightened.

  3. We won't buy Baros.

Ellis wont spend £6m on anyone.

If he agrees the fees it will fall apart over wages.

If he agrees the wages he'll forget to fax the registration to the FA.

    .

I hope thats tongue in cheek. Pessimism is inevitable with a club like ours but some people really do take the piss. Baros will sign, if he doesn't, I'll personally fly to Mexico and get you a tequila.

  4. This is a silly poll. The entire kitty is not necessarily Baros for a start. Secondly, we don't need a creative midfielder as much as we need a centre-back or indeed a left back, which DOL appreciates. Therefore I would spend money on Baros, a CB and a LB iff possible and leave a creative midfielder for another time.

  5. We're not gonna be able to keep four top strikers happy at our club, believe me if Vassell stays and Baros signs one or two of our strikers will spit their dummy out and demand a move eventually.

We've heard tons about Moore and his potential, now if Vassell leaves Moore will get his chance to prove his worth.

When I said 'top' strikers I exaggerated. Angel, Vassell, Phillips are, like most strikers, subject to huge flucuations in form, as is Milan Baros. If strikers aren't scoring it costs the team. I think the strikers we have will take it on the chin if they are not performing. By keeping Baros and Vassell we would show intentions of ambiton. If one striker isn't performing, we can change him around. Plus you have to bear in mind injuries too. I think we would be fine with 4 strikers plus Moore and I'd like to see it happen. But I don't believe it will.

  6. Baros runs the flanks too, and actually gets into goalscoring positions and takes his chances. I would still like both though, We shouldn't need to sell, competition is good and we need 4 top strikers, Moore is not yet a top striker.

  7. Vassell I dnon't think will be first choice next term, so what we will see is him coming on for the last 20 minutes of games and giving everyhting. That it what he does (or did) for England and he was bloody good at it. A super-sub can get you probably an extra 12 points or so a season so ofcourse we should keep him. Also, he's one of the only Villa fans left in our squad.

  8. I don't read The Sun, I read the Times and I've read what might be his business plan. I have not formulated an opinion on him yet. We'll see if he is good for them, but whatever I think, whenever you put a club in large debt with unhappy fans then its a risk, and it remains to be seen whether it will pay off. I'm no Ellis fan but hes not going to ruin our finances even if our team isn't what it might be.

  9. After all the fuss that the United fans have been making, burning season ticket/effergies of Malcolm Glazer etc.. I was jus wondering if we would rather see Doug (no introduction needed) Ellis running the club or an American who knows nothing about football and would raise prices for everything from tickets to merchandise by dramatic amounts aswell as landing us in significant debt which there are no gurantees could be payed back.
