  1. My lad wants the away shirt, if he waits for his season card can he use the £5 on it and the 10% discount?

    £35 sounds ok

Pretty much yeah. That's if there are £5 vouchers this season - I've not seen anything on the vouchers personally so I can't verify if one exists this season.

  2. Don't get me wrong - I think there's better RBs - he was a McLeish player.

When I was at Spuds game at VP towards end of season - I thought Hutton actually was one of our better players that day till he got crocked.

Agree with you JulieB, I'm no Hutton fan but on occasion last season he was ok and at least put some effort in unlike one or two others.

Having attended 90% of last seasons games I thought Warnock had a good end to the season, especially when we were knee deep in the mire. But he like Hutton will never receive any credit from a section of fans when it is merited.

    All of this ^

  3. I will wear the current home kit to games. Unless like last season, I bought the home kit, long sleeved, and we went on that horrendous losing spree, so i wore the season before lasts home kit, especially at away games and we either won or drew - was great! Haha, but yea for this season it will be the new home kit :D

I did the same! Bought the exact same shirt at the Norwich game and then we didn't win for agessss.

Got deemed the unlucky shirt and I hardly wore it on match days :( Although at some point I happened to wear it and we won or drew, can't remember, but it lifted the curse :D

  4. Am I the only one who likes Jack Woodward? :?

I find him quite funny. I like his hair too.

Me too. His commentary is sometimes very cheesy, but he does his job well. His hair is an oddity though.

  5. Just got back from Villa park having relocated to L8 now very excited about the season. Not really new news but the bloke showing us our seats said Mcleish resigned after Bolton with a clause in his contract that if he got to 40 points he will be paid off.

Sorry, been away at airshows all weekend. And sorry that my question is off topic, but... if he resigned after Bolton (I thought he might), how come to the bitter end he gave everyone (including the press), the impression that he would still be here, that he was expecting to still be here at the start of next season?

IIRC he was adamant (not Adam Ant) that he would be Villa manager at the start of next season during his post match Norwich interview... Happy to be proven wrong (not Wong).

    Thanks

I imagine that the players hadn't been told and was an effort to try and keep dressing room on his side.

He did tell a lot of porkies in his time, but what manager doesn't in all fairness?

  6. Yeah the sizes are very much bigger, I was a large in the Nike kit, medium in Macron's. I tried it on over my long sleeved top from last season, and there was still quite a bit of room underneath even in the medium...

  7. Wow, Macandally keeper shocker!!

Rob Green is not that bad. CI did you read the posts previously, or just knee jerk off the one above?

Robinson definitely as good as Given, same attributes, both primarily shot stoppers. IF anything, Robinson more commanding and younger.

    Butland, I posted about earlier.

Rob Green is sh1te as is that lump Robinson.

I cannot comment on Butland. Don't know anything about him.

Watched Butland training with the England squad, looked very, very impressive.

  8. We are playing a waiting game, rather than pay out we are waiting for them to appoint a new manager who will want his own staff. Norwich will soon be forced to pay them off rather than us paying them for releasing them.

They are in more of a rush than we are so we may as well sit and wait.

This. Culver and Karsa have followed PL everywhere in managing... I don't expect this to change.

  9. Compare and contrast with Birmingham. A team that plays in the nation's 2nd biggest city. A city with 2 million people in and around it, a huge customer market; fantastic infrastructure; limitless facilities and business opportunities; unrivalled transport links and on the verge of high speed rail to London boosting the local economy - Norwich doesn't even have a motorway.

Chris Hughton still hasn't arrived at his Norwich City press conference, stuck in traffic #NCFC

Well well well Mr Hughton... looks like your chickens are coming home to roost after all!!!!

    :lol::lol::lol:

  10. PL says a lot more in the AVTV and local interviews.

I'm so excited for next season, PL was my first choice despite falling in love with OGS for a day (and despite how unrealistic it was, really), feel like a massive negative cloud has been lifted off Villa, can't wait for it to start :D
