Honest to god, if it is Curbishley, I'll be finished with the Villa and my ST will go back.
1. Don't talk daft
2. You wouldnt get a refund
3. But if your serious, I'm sure plenty of folks would take it off your hands for free

Steve Nichol's just appeared on one bettering site at 20/1
-
It comes to something when we're all picking our fave candidate on a 'well he's better than the other shit options' basis
What happened to that bright future we were sold once upon a time ?
-
Anyone know best place to park ?
-
Curbs can go **** himself. My memory isn't short
-
If the club are concerned about low gates at the moment. Imagine what they'll be if Curbishley gets the job
He hated playing for the club never mind managing it
-
Madrid have denied there was ever a bid of £18million.
well there's a surprise. Redknapp talking out his arse ? surely not
-
By the sounds of it Curbs has had a interview already and fits the criteria outlined
He does ?
What about the bit about being a winner ?
-
Not such a bad signing then
For them no. For us a **** carthorse
-
God forbid its a Houllier / MacDonald double act. Reaks of desperation
If we're that concerned about getting someone out of work and out of the loop we should go all out for Ron Saunders
-
Curbs always reminded me of Christ Tarrant.
Who knows, he could be our saviour.
So could David Icke. Not sure i'd risk either though

Charlton
2000/2001 - 9th
2001/2002 - 14th
2002/2003 - 12th
2003/2004 - 7th
2004/2005 - 11th
2005/2006 - 13th
Not bad for a side like Charlton, plus they got relegated after he left and look where they are now.
West Ham
2006/2007 - 15th
2007/2008 - 10th
He will have better players at Villa.
YEAH!
Those kind of stats really get me excited. Sure to have the crowds flooding back to Villa Park!. I bet the star names we have now would be queuing up to sign new deals too. Its not often a starname like Curbs comes on the market. He's obviously been fending off top job offers for the last few years with a shitty stick.
Bring on the dullest man in football double quick!

I dont see the problem with Curbishley
You should join the board then. They're as misguided as you
Employ him as a scratch card seller by all means. But lets leave him to his inevitable appointment as Fergie or Wenger's successor in the managerial stakes eh

You can just imagine the excitement amongst the lads at Bodymoor tomorrow
Alan Curbishley is a well respected and sought after manager with a track record of exciting and winning football
How he never got offered the job before i'll never know. He shines charisma and positiveness out of his arse like a beacon
-
Erm, if we were conducting talks with Moyes, do you honestly believe they'd be held in a hotel/bistro in Liverpool ?
More like a garden shed in Droitwich
-
I can only assume this shit about not wanting a manager who's already in a job is some sort of 'lost in translation' bullshit
Because if you're 'morals' tell you we can only go for someone nobody else wants and thats out of work it doesnt say a lot does it ?
It might explain our last minute transfer window bid for Lee Hendrie though
-
Time to don the black cape
-
Gary Megson for me
-
Actually, the more I think about it, a Klinsmann/ KMAC arrangement with Kev taking on some kind of first-team coaching role does'nt sound so bad.
Scares me to death. Klinsmann's hardly noted for his tactical nous either
-
any thoughts on Avram Grant?
Yes, he looks like Larry Grayson's corpse
-
It's a bloody farce
-
You wont be saying that Gazton if Petrov and say NRC pick up injuries
Who the **** would we replace them with as midfield grafters ???
Sidwell, Osborne and Salifou ?
Top notch!
-
If its taken 3 weeks to appoint a bloke that was already at the club and who doesn't fit the criteria we were told, it wont take long for people to put 2+2 together and think we've been led up the garden path just to avoid spending any money in the transfer market.
We're 1 injury away from being decimated in the middle of the park due to our reluctance to dip into the market. Really can't wait until Osborne and Salifou have to play due to tiredness or injury to the other few options ... DOH
A brilliant summer all round!
Confirmed: Houllier is the new Villa manager

Yes, but Andy Gray used to be a top class centre forward also. I wouldnt want him up there now mind
I want someone at the top of there game NOW not ten years ago
