I think the relationship between the Villa and Feyenoord board is very well. I haven't heard about anything suspicious or weird going on. We also have good relationship with Man City. We loaned John Guidetti last season and we are getting Omar Elabdellaoui for this season. Feyenoord will probably never reject any good loan player but he has to be better than what we have. I'm not sure if you have a player that is not good enough yet for Villa but is close to our first team. I also don't mean to be disrespectful but I think our first team is quite close in terms of quality but our youth academy is far far far superior to Villa's.

I agree that Vertonghen is much better on the ball but Vlaar is twice the defender Vertonghen is. Both players are not very quick but Vertonghen is more agile than Vlaar. EDIT: Aissati is shit and would get blown away completely in the PL. He has also just signed for Vitesse.

Latest News Vlaar is set to join Villa for 4 million Euro's. Vlaar had a release clause in his contract.

He is 27 years old, good with both feet and long range passes to wingers and strong in the air. If he could be the Richard Dunne of 2/3 years ago and before that but without the ego and the alcoholism, that would be perfect foil for a youngster like Clark. He doesn't have to be spectacular. He just has to be "concrete". He sounds, I dunno, "stable"? Would you say he's a leader? Yeah, he has really grown into the leader role in the last 2 seasons. I don't think he will be as comfortable in the same role in England but maybe in due time. @mattyp_avfc Luuk de Jong is set to move to Monchengladbach tomorrow or tuesday for approx 12 million pounds. Villa should buy John Guidetti (Man City) as a new striker. He was an absolute legend for us last year and would only cost half of the De Jong fee. He would make a great partner for Bent.

The Dutch league is not really short on cash...just Feyenoord is (and some smaller teams). Clubs like PSV, FC Twente, Vitesse and our not so friends from Amsterdam are spending quite big on players every year. Even Heerenveen are spending a bit this year now that Marco van Basten is their manager. We have a great youth academy that produces a lot of great players. 23 of the 27 first team squad players that we have are Dutch and 16 have come from our academy. Even from the 5 foreign players that we have, 2 came out of the academy and have been with us for a long time.

We are fine with defenders and midfielders...we could however do with a striker. Are u happy to get rid of Delfouneso?

He does need to bulk up but I don't think it will happen. He's been a starter now for 3 years and still a skinny guy. He is only 20 however so he could still do some work. We have another great prospect in Bruno Martins Indi who is very similar to De Vrij and also skinny.

He renewed his contract last year against all odds (We had one of our worst seasons ever in 2010/11) so there may be a release clause for a foreign club. Even if there isn't a release clause, I would think 5 million will deffo get accepted looking at our financial situation. If we can get 5 million pounds for him we are back to financial stability without any debts.

Found some more clips of style of play of El Ahmadi and his role in the Feyenoord team last year. His best friend is also a pro footballer and playing for ADO den Haag. His name is Tjarron Chery and he has a tattoo with the name 'Karim' on his arm in honour of their friendship.
