Wow...after pretty much a whole page of post on poster I was hoping to talk about super jack.
Should he stay captain when Chester returns? Personally I'm seen more influence and passion in 90 mins with jack as skipper than I have from JC all season.

Results have been awful so far.
I don't like the idea of gambling on him another year hoping he will do something he has never in he's managerial career achieved, promotion.
If there were some signs that it might happen under him next season fair enough, but there is nothing to suggest we will be anywhere near top 6 under him next season. That's why i'd be ruthless and get in someone with a better track record.
I hear steve bruce has more promotions to the premier league than anyone else on the whole universe, ever. Sky sports tells me we should get him.

Was great at Barnsley wasn't he? Has he just been 'aston villa'd' by us?

Pace, strength, decent enough with the ball at his feet, passing and crossing aren't and can be worked on.
Players are not the finished article at 20 or even 23 in a lot of cases. He excelled at youth level and can be a good player for us if he is treated correctly.
Why shouldn't we support him?
Pace yes.
Strength - constantly getting bullied off the ball.
Terrible first touch and loses the ball continuously. You're right that things can be worked on, but have we not been doing this since he broke into the first team squad? With absolutely zero improvement shown, time to get rid.
While he is in a villa shirt i'll support him, but I think he is an awful footballer and he hampers our ability to win games when he is on the pitch.

He scored the other day, for one thing.
The point is that he's a young player with potential and he needs time, support and encouragement to get to the level we want him to be.
Sneering and deriding him are pointless things to do. How does it help him or us exactly?
He scored. So has Whelan, hutton, jedonak, bjarnasson etc in their time here. What exactly about his play makes you think he has potential?

My, you're a fiery one, chill out bud. A couple of people disagree with your views on Green v the other "wingers" that's life.
I've managed to accumulate over 6,000 posts on this site without anyone querying if I should be contributing to this forum.
With that many posts, I'd assume you were a well respected contributor and I'd therefore be interested in your views. All you can reply though is one word answers, which makes me think you can't back up your opinion with an thought. Not sure posting on a forum 6000 times is something to be immensely proud of either...

Yes he is doing more than Adomah out there which is what you questioned.
So you are unable to add to the debate by providing any real insight into your thoughts that Green does more. Typical. What's the point of you being on this forum if your not going to add to debate?

Yes, yes he is.
Please elaborate...?

**** sake, can we actually go down?

Doing more than Adomah or Kodjia out there, should be given the rest of the season to prove himself.
Is he though? Adomah has put crosses in. Kodija is unpredicatable with what he will do. Green gets the ball and loses it. All of them are shit.

Lock it. Open the relegation thread
-
Quickly losing patience. No identity, no plan B, tactically outclassed by most managers. Embarrassing
-
What has he ever done on the pitch to suggest he will make it. League one footballer at best. Can't beat a man, poor delivery, loses the ball constantly.

Can't argue with relegation form.

Another wasted season. I actually hope Grealish leaves for a club which can offer him a real opportunity this summer. All our useful players except McGinn are here on loan. There is no reason to feel optimistic right now.
Shut up Raymond. Like any fan would actually HOPE we sell our best player. Idiotic comment

Bristol winning. Could be 10 points off 6th tomorrow
-
Probably should change the title of this thread seeing as they will beat us at St. Andrew's and finish above us comfortably.
-
cannot see a win unfortunately. score draw as we watch our frail playoff hopes turn to dust.

Don’t think he did much wrong yesterday. Second goal was strange but I don’t think it was his fault. He saw the initial shot late because Sharp was running across his eyeline.
he still fell over himself before holding on to the ball, making it much harder. his coordination was poor at that moment.

He's a CB not a left back, he's probably a left back in the same way Hutton is a CB.
Who has played at lb for wolves. Surely better than NT?

Great he scored but once again proved he is just not good enough.
-
This guy is either nowhere near match fit or else a terrible footballer to allow neil Taylor to get picked ahead of him
