General You are important, maybe more important than you would realise, just as Randy and Paul are important. You are much more than ''just a board member'' or 'just a director' to us fans. Randy, Paul and your good self have done so much for us fans and our club so you should be on it, you deserve to be because you are as highly honored as Randy and Paul are. Putting your name on the card is very important to us fans, as I am sure many others will agree. If a card is sent out hopefully your name will be on it ?? Thank you Sir

General Good to see you back on the site, hope you had a good trip. This may be off topic but as we know, Christmas is coming, last year we were mailed a Christmas card with Christmas wishes and signed, pre printed, from Randy and Paul Faulkner. A very nice gesture from our club to us fans ( I still have it). But the first thing my wife and I said to each other was ''Where is the General's name on the card ? why is he not on it ? He should be.'' I bet many other fans were asking the same. What I am asking is, if our club sends cards again this Christmas, please would you be included in the card along with other names on the card ??

General Yes Sir, you are correct. We ARE the better team, we are better than them. Always have been, always will be. It was a good atmoshere, our fans were loud. I hope our fellow fans will be as loud for ALL our games. Like the Rapid Vienna fans.

General When looking to book match tickets on avfc website ticket page, to check ticket availability individual blocks in each stand can be checked but there are no individual seating plans for each block. It would be helpful and advantageous to view seating plans to see which specific seats are available (like they are in theaters, arenas etc), especially as my wife is disabled. Why are actual seating plans not availlable to view ?? Please could it be possible to have all the seating plans be put on to view for booking tickets ?? (to help me understand : if not why not ?) Much appreciated if you can enlighten me on this. Thank you Sir

General Thank you Sir, based on what you wrote above, you also were absolutely right when you previously said that our club want the ''right person for the job''. We got him. I felt and could see so much positve optimism from GH and PF on Friday. Now we can ALL work towards our bright fututre. It is ultimately down to players on the pitch to perform well along with our manager playing his part but us fans play an important part in supporting players to perform well also showing our support to our manager (and to our board on here). I was right to have faith, trust and patience in our board making the right decision in appointing our new manager and I still have have faith in our board and manager to aim higher with all of us to get trophies and top four. We done it before, we'll do it again. I say 'our' because like GH said ''we are all in this together''. Thank you so much to all concerned. Keep up the good work.

General Pleased you are back also pleased with Gerard Houlier being appointed. Went to villa Park Friday and met Gerard Houlier and Paul Faulkner, very pleasant people. There was (and is) a lot of positivity again at Villa. Also met Jack Woodward he said ''be optimistic and have faith''. I agree with this. We should all get behind GH, he knows fans are important and us fans are all part of this. Will GH be in charge with a number 2 and full staff by the time we play Wolves ?

General I have read conflicting newspaper reports regarding David Moyes and a potential manager shortlist of 4 other names and Kevin Macdonald. I don't believe all that I read. I would like to believe some reports and would not like to believe others. I say to you, Randy and Paul that we are all trusting and relying on the board to appoint a manager who is best for our ambitions and values of our great club. Never have you all been relied upon so much. What you have all done is appreciated. Thank you for keeping us posted with updates. Hope we get David Moyes or Kevin Macdonald OR David Moyes as manager with kevin Macdonald as No.2; ie first team coach. Obviously Sir, you are busy and can only divulge certain things (for obvious reasons - fully understood) please continue to keep us posted with regular updates on our manager situation according to what you can say. General I know I asked you before if there would be official android app you replied sayiing only the iphone app, but please do seriously consider an android app. You will be surprised at the vast popularity of android phones and at how many android phones are sold in UK, US and worldwide It will increase revenue and increase branding for our great club. Dirk1978 (who I agree with entirely), myself and MANY others would pay for it. Please can an android app be considered with a view to having one in the near future ??? Thank you Sir

General Excellent post, thank you Sir. Just to say, I passionatelly support Villa and everyone at our club through thick and thin. I have FAITH and appreciation in what you, Randy, Paul and others are doing and have done at OUR great club. I say our club as we are all in this together. I say faith as I know you and Randy in particular are fans as well as board members. My support is ALWAYS there. Yes, I wonder what is going on but I know work is being done behind the scenes because it has to be, as we are too big to stagnate. I don't believe all I read in the media. We are not ''a club in turmoil'' as previously reported. I feel that the next few weeks will be a turning point for us. So to you and all involved - keep up the good work. Hopefully you can keep us informed and updated on developments as much as possible (depending on what you are at liberty to divulge - I understand this). Thank you for continually coming on this site, very appreciated.

General In relation to my disabled ticketing issue, after speaking to Nicky Keye's staff and meeting Sheila Maybury, everything is now sorted to for my wife to attend games with disabled concessions. Thank you very much indeed for your help Sir, it is much appreciated. However would I have been entitled to a partial refund due to the ticket error for the West Ham game and when you said that "something definitely seems wrong'' (as mentioned in the previously) ? What is your opinion Sir ? Thanks again Steve

General I hold a season card for North stand lower. I took my wife who is registered disabled to the West Ham game, the ticket office told me there were no disabled seating available. My wife can walk short distances but has difficulty going up and down stairs so I 'upgraded' my seat to lower trinity for £17 and paid £35 for my wife (total £52). However. since then a fellow season ticket holder told me that because I went as my wifes carer, I should not have paid £17 extra for my seat as disabled carers go free. General, please can you clarify this point and is there anything I can do ??? Your help is much appreciated Sir - Thank You.
