  1. Bookies aren't like our chances at all which is strange because this can could really go either way.

Everton have been very ordinary so far this season but are expecting some good players back which could be a big boost. We have lost Senderos and Delph but Benteke and Vlaar should be back so we should be stronger.

    I'd go with

    Guzan

    Hutton - Vlaar - Baker - Cissokho

                         Westwood

                 Cleverly - Richardson

    Weinman                          Gabby

                           Benteke

    Hoping for a 1- 0 win

  2. I feel that some posters don't appreciate just how strong that Chelsea side is. That was their best 11 and it is an incredibly well balanced team. They won't lose a game in the league unless they get a few injuries.

I was a bit disappointed we didn't make a better contest of it but thankfully we don't play Chelsea and Man City every week.

  3. Like last week we have ridiculously good paying odds for a win. 4.5-1 to win and 8-1 for the half and full time double. 5ers on both of those and a cheeky dollar on Baker or Senderor to score given how bad arsenal have been at defending set pieces this season.

  4. So as someone who has no idea about the history of the relationship between England and Scotland could someone give me a high level explanation of why independence has become a big issue and what are the advantages and disadvantages.

  5. I always find it amusing how different the opinions are on midfielders that play that sort of engine role for the team. I remember the endless debate of Petrov or Reo Coker that went on during the Mon years.

While we would all love a perfectly rounded player like Makelele they are very hard to come by. I think Westwood does a good job of keeping the team ticking over in the middle. He does the simple things well while also having a bit more to his passing game. If he wants to stay in that deeper role he needs to improve defensively, his tendency to not track midfield runners is a big problem.

I think we have a really good player in Westwood and he is going to be a big part of our team however given his skills he'd probably be better with a more defensive midfielder behind him.

  6. That was an excellent half of football. Controlled most of the game and took our chances well. The question is can we keep this up and is this going to be the new standard we set ourselves at home.
