  1. Heskey is not very clever is he?, why does he keep on giving away needless fould when the opposition are under pressure?

At which point in a players career should he realise that wrapping your arm around the opponents neck from behind and then trying to wrap your foot around their body to reach the ball is going to be called a foul?

And why does Heskey expect to get away with it?

  2. People just see the MOTD montages and the the fact the commentators seem to think just cos he got loads of yellow cards that its cos he is dirty. Most of them were for continual fouling or dissent. It's useless though, because obviously people who only see him every now and again know better

MoTD can put a montage together, because he's been involved in so many incidents. If he wasn't that bad, there wouldn't be endless footage of him elbowing people in the head and leaving his foot in tackles.

Lad, there was 3 things shown on that MOTD shite, 2 in one game when Turner had practically assaulted him on numerous occasions. I am actually thankful that Felli gave him some back because it made Turner think again before he did it again and ironically enough MF scored against them, so he sure had the last laugh.

Lol at endless as well...

Woman, what he did to Turner was one of the most cowardly things ever seen on a football pitch. You could smash a guy's face in swinging your elbow like that and then he did it again after Turner didn't go down.

Every live game Everton are involved in has an incident where Fellaini has done somebody. He's elbowed a few Villa players in our games.

And cut the hard done by shit, that he's been provoked and he's just retaliating, it's football, there's always battles, that doesn't mean you can wait until the next 50/50 in the air and elbow the opponent.

I'm glad he's injured, he could have hurdled that tackle, but he chose to try and do the greek - karma.

  3. Anderson Silva - seemless, well rounded martial artist.. He'd destroy Mayweather (if they ever fought), and he'd beat Roy Jones Jr.

According to some muppet on another forum. :crylaugh:

Does he mean in a boxing match?

Silva would destroy them in MMA/street fight, but would get destroyed in a boxing match.

  5. Get in.

Had to be from a free kick though.

Couple from outfield would be nice :)

Who gives a **** how we score them?

Well i think if you have more than just a couple ways of scoring goals your more likely to win games and teams wont know what to do. Rather than just making sure they have everyone back for set pieces.

They can have their manager in there if they want, it doesn't seem to be stopping us from scoring from them.

  6. by all accoumts Redknap is richer than Ferguson, looking at their management careers somethings not right there

    Top 10 wealthiest managers:

    1 Fabio Capello (England) £30m

    2 Roy Keane (Ipswich) £27m

3 Sir Alex Ferguson (Manchester United) £22m

    4 Carlo Ancelotti (Chelsea) £17m

5 Sven-Goran Eriksson (Notts County director of football) £15m

    5= Arsene Wenger (Arsenal) £15m

    7 Harry Redknapp (Tottenham) £10m

    8 Rafael Benitez (Liverpool) £9m

    8= Martin O'Neill (Aston Villa) £9m

10 Mark Hughes (Manchester City) £8m

  7. ... You just objected to people saying you have no chance of finishing 4th.

I'm one of those, you have NO CHANCE and I'm willing to bet you.

Patently Spurs do have a chance - the league table says so quite apart from anything else.

You might not think that Spurs will be able to take that chance, but that's a different issue. If you can't see the difference then sorry, I can't help you.

In any case, why should I take your bet on Spurs finishing 4th, when (a) I've predicted 5th place for Spurs; and (B) you are NOT willing to accept the same bet with regard to Villa?

Blues 'have a chance' too. Liverpool 'have a chance' of winning the league title. But that's when knowledge comes in and you realise both have no chance when you take everything into account, same with Spurs, they have no chance of getting 4th.

I'm not the one objecting to people saying Villa have no chance of getting 4th.

  8. I bet Milner is ahead of Lennon in the pecking order for the England squad.

I'd say you have no chance of finishing 4th, want to make a bet about it, winner leaves VT forever?

I notice you don't propose this bet about Villa finishing 4th.

As for Spurs, I've predicted 5th place for them, with a chance for 4th.

You just objected to people saying you have no chance of finishing 4th.

I'm one of those, you have NO CHANCE and I'm willing to bet you.

  9. Nah.

The way I'd put it is like this

Richard Dunne is a 90% version of Shaun Teale

Martin Laursen was a 50% version of Paul McGrath

But 50% of Paul McGrath is worth far far more than 90% of Teale.

    Do you get me ?

So what percentage is Dunne of McGrath? And what percentage was Lauren of Teale?

And surely Dunne is more like McGrath and Laursen like Teale?
