  1. AFAIK, it was only media accounts surrounding the incident that identified the perp as a Villa fan. Was the question of which club he supports actually stated in court?

The senior crown prosecutor said it was in no way linked to football allegiances.

That doesn't answer the question... if anything it indicates that the issue of football allegiance was never brought up in court, thus no statement that the perp was a Villa fan was ever made under oath.

When you read the story, it sounds like the Blues fans in the car with him + the hooligans with Christopher Priest were to blame - and obviously the dickhead couldn't handle his car being damaged, drove at them and the guy who had little to do with it slipped and got hit.

  3. He and his family said that he was a Villa season ticket holder as recent as the previous season. You telling me that wasn't checked out?

The reason Blues fan have jumped on this is because it was Villa hooligans who started it, because they thought it was a car full of Blues fans.

trent and others have presented you the facts of the case, if you choose to carrying on arguing the case alone tahts your choice.

no-one is defending the muppet who threw the glass but the villa shouldnt have lost his life over it. a stupid act of revenge

How have they presented the FACTS of the case?

Saying they THINK he was a Blues fan when in court they said he was a Villa fan?

  4. mayweather impressed, but when he was going down in 2nd he grabbed mosely to rpevent falling is that allowed.

also when he was talking and then punched mosely in the face that was cowardly tactics.

mayweather needs to stop being a coward and fight manny.

    1) Yes, it's allowed

    2) Defend yourself at all times. Mosley **** up

    3) Pacquiao is ducking blood tests.

You're allowed to hold on to your opponents arms? Don't think so.

  5. The police, both clubs and the local media hid it from the general public in the immediate aftermath of the incident to avoid any escalation. It was a sensible policy I think.

I'm not sure if I understand what point you're arguing colleh, are you saying that Mockble wasn't a Villa fan or asking the question of whether the jury were informed at the trial?

I'm saying you can't say in court 'he's a Villa fan' if he was a Blues fan. Just wouldn't happen. And that's what did happen, so the jury were misinformed or were they in on it too?

Who can't say that? Because I know if I was the defendant I'd damn well say I was whatever fan it needed to make it seem like I didn't run someone down in cold blood, and I'd get some character witnesses to say the same as well.

That his justice campaign is being run by blue noses and that his family are bluenoses that were taunting the victims family at court, says far far more than whatever was said in a court room in an attempt to get him off a murder charge.

  7. Sticking up for a murderer because he's a blues fan.

The reports I've read state that Lee Mockble was infact a Villa fan, and the incident all started because he was mistaken for a Blues fan.

    The reports were wrong.

And what was said in court?

    You could always try Google.

I'm not asking what was actually said.

I know what was said. That he was a Villa fan and the incident had nothing to do with football allegiances.

You're telling me the lawyers, police and family all hid that from the jury?

    Welcome to the free press.

Those reports were put out because they knew if it was put out that a sha fan killed a villa fan there would be hell to pay.

You read what the police wanted you to read.

It went to court, they couldn't lie about a detail like that in court.

And I remember at the time, people said Danny was at the scene. He probably ended up being a witness in court.

  9. Hey Gabby15 - so why has froch fought so rarely in the last two years?

Fought pretty much as often as most other world champs these days

    4 fights in two years?

    yeh if you're the man.

Not if you want to be the man.

And he doesn't seem to want to fight.

He's fought four world class opponents in two years.
