Milner's such a good player.
Carew has no movement at all.
-
Left foot, Gabby, left foot.
-
Was that Rob on camera then?
-
Young's been shit apparently, but has still set up two (one via Lampard)

Barry was quite poor during the DOL reign and Solano only played for 18 months which Angel wasnt really fit in his 2nd season.
To compare him to them players is laughable. Angle was a regular in one of the top attacks in the world before he joined Villa with Saviola, Aimar and Ortega so he was no flash in the pan
The other three made it one of the top attacks in the world, not Angel.
The south american clubs are feeder clubs for europe really. It's telling that one joined Barca, two joined Valencia and Angel joined us.
-
Angel scored 14 goals in 89 league games in his last 3 seasons. Emile Heskey would be embarrassed by that strike rate.
-
Angel for me he played in a dreadful team with midfielders like Hendrie and McCann and still got a decent total. Put David Villa in that team and he would struggle
Angel is a Marcus Stewart, a Michael Ricketts, a Benny McCarthy, a Kevin Doyle, a Michael Bridges......just with a fancy name and good PR.
Angel did play in front of a midfield which had Barry, Solano and Hendrie, two very good players and one good one on his day.

Baros has no chance of getting in the side.
Angel has fanboys who might vote him in though.
Should be Dublin and Gabby.
-
If Angel gets in this side, it's a travesty.

Been reading and hearing recently that there are doubts about Rio Ferdinand's position as 1st choice CB for England.
He has been increasingly plagued by injuries and they're affecting his ability to do his job effectively.
Do you think it's time to try another CB before we get to the World Cup or, do you reckon it's all a storm in a teacup and Ferdinand is still quality and he'll return to the form that made him 1st choice?
What do y'all think?
Is he first choice though? Probably captain Terry, ain't it?
And he still deserves his place in the side, mainly because after being England's strongest position for years, England now actually look a bit thin on the ground in central defence...
-
Really is this all the right wingers?!
You think the right is bad, the Left is even less choice and that could be for twenty years worth!
Tbf, we did have Barry there for about 5 years, but he went in the CM poll.

Chucho does have the potential to be very good.
Just not in a team as devoid of talent and creativity as the Blues side.
He is the perfect Blues player though.
As somebody (Rob I think) pointed out recently, Blues always have to have a player in their squad who hardly ever plays, so the fans can tell everybody that they would be top of the league if he was getting a regular game.
You can probably trace this back as far as the days of Ricky Otto!
It was me who said that
He definitely has potential though. Blues team is so one paced and mediocre, he'll never realise it there.
-
I'd rather Heskey went out there during his time as sub, put himself about, broke someone's jaw in an aerial duel and got sent off than the limp, lame shite he produces anytime he plays, at least the former would look like he cared.

I like Gabby vs Samba....

Yep, I'm of the opinion that the midfield would have been fine with NRC dropped in behind Petrov and Delph, perhaps allowing Delph to have a slightly free role. Then Gabby uptop alone. Not really sure why we are going 4-4-2, although it could work...
Talk about hedging your bets

Messi scored a brilliant goal last night, bagged 2 in the game.
Ronaldo responded tonight, flicking the ball past a defender, bursting down the left, beating two players and drilling it in at the near post from 20 yards.
Messi, 5 goals in 4 games. A goal every 57 minutes.
Ronaldo, 7 goals in 5 games. A goal every 56 minutes.
Two players who are just incredible. La Liga is in danger of becoming a two man show (but what a show!)

And they're scouse. And they report players to the police. And their derby is a friendly bore.

Why do people want Everton to do well?
Their fans are proper rocket polishers. I remember them saying they wanted Ashley Young's legs broken last year. And they never stop whinging.

It isn't that hard to have a relationship with an indian girl, they're quite receptive to it and their families aren't that bad.
Pakistani girls on the other hand is a whole different ball game.

webcam pic.. not quite ashley young style though thankfully
Agent Ridgewell.

Everton's success has been built around a strong backline.
And that's been ripped apart. Even if they get Jagielka back in, I don't think he'll be the same for a while and they're still going to miss Lescott.
-
Is it me or do Blues always have a player that their manager doesn't pick, but they obsess over him and think they'd win the league if he started?
Benitez, Zarate, Forssell, Figueroa and Dunn all spring to mind. Even De Ridder I think.

I'm VERY impressed with Collins and Dunne so far
Same.
Collins looks very good.
