Bent rumor not going away. Jones & cash would be great at this point. No, we don't need Jones, but let's go down the 'fill the squad full of beasts' route and try and stay up that way. That would give us some money for a Defender then.

What needs to happen is the following... 1. Ring Stoke and tell them that they can have Bent as a straight swap for Adam & Jones. 2. Ring Man City and bust our balls to get Lescott on a loan deal 3. Kill Stephen Warnock I'd take anything now, fresh faces can only do us good.

If Lerner does not sanction any more signings, we are down. This Sylla guy might be good, we don't know yet, but he's just the first of 2 or 3 players we need. We need a Defender. What we have clearly ain't good enough.

Yeah but a majority on here think Bent is wank too. Sometimes it's the wrong fit. I think Adam could do well here. At least he can take a free-kick.

Just heard Stoke have told Charlie Adam he can leave. I'd take him in any deal for Bent, that would be the Midfield bolstered up a bit. Though saying that, bit of speculation that N'Zogbia may be going back to Wigan??!!
