I think they're going down this season 4 points from 5 kind fixtures is very very poor LMAO

I thought we were lucky to get a point and on that display we will not even be challenging for play offs. We have a good squad but a very limited manager.

I'd take snodgrass wide right ahead of Elmo or adomah any day .
He's to slow for me I like pace. Agree to disagree.

He answers a problem we don't have, will result in greater chopping and changing to keep everyone happy and because Bruce will be further away from an idea of what his best team is, and we already have a cast of thousands.
I guess he's a good player, or was until January anyway, but I'm not at all excited by this signing. I don't think we needed anyone, but if we did, it was a left-winger, not yet another right-sided player, and one who has basically announced on arrival that he doesn't want to play on the left FFS.
I fully agree with you

His signing scares me to be honest. Bruce said "he can play left, right or off the striker". Ahead of Green, Elmohamady or Hourihane? He better be good to do that!
I'd pick all of them over snodgrass

This is the point I've been trying to make, I don't think he improves the first team tbh, he's a decent player and definitely bolsters the squad though I'd also pick Grealish over him when he's back, welcome Snograss

Happy to accept a good delivery and a good shot to be fair....
Its been missing from most of our signings since as long as I care to remember
True. Just think he's a pretty slow player but I'm all for us bolstering the squad, I think I'm just a big believer in pace in football lol.

Being honest I think he's a slightly over rated player, he's only real quality he brings is he's delivery & he's got a good shot, still as a loan I think he's an ok addition. I've never been convinced of all the hype around him tbh.

Sebastian Bassong is training with Blues
Bang goes another £50k a week on a absolute knacker like that
Can't wait till Redknapp walks and leaves players like Bassong and the others he has signed on 2/3 year deals all on over £50k a week
Let's be honest here no way he will get a 50k contract as he currently has no club, but the good news is Norwich fans are saying he's abysmal lol hopefully he can get a 20k contract on 3 years though

That's the Hogan I saw at Brentford
lovely to see us scoring freely last two games!

Listening to WM last night, i loved hearing Harry throwing his players under the bus already.
However, his excuse for the Burton defeat was that Burton switched formation at half time and Blues couldn't cope. Isn't formations and tactics the managers remit Harry?
Shame no one in the media will ever call him on his bullshit, he's like teflon. He could probably even get away with something like tax fraud...
Exactly & nobody seems to be bringing up that rowett had them around 6-7th with an even poorer squad, redknapps just making excuses bringing up zolas awful reign etc can see straight through it

Can't believe how much the city fanbase has been diluted. I suppose that's success for you though. It's fair to say there are no glory hunters at villa.
Because their is no glory lol

Chamberlain is a quality player you would not want to lose but he's not worthy of nearly 150k a week
-
Everton should have seen this game out they threw it away it's like they got scared as they were nearing the 90 minutes weak mentality
-
Everton proper threw this game away

Pep is over rated big time, he always needs a bottomless pit to spend and even then he's messing up big time, he inherited a powerful team aswell.

i dont think that will be enough to get them up though and the worry for them is most of those will just return to their parent clubs at end of season. downing is utter shit now so that is not a real worry. dont know too much about Acquah but candleface targeted about 4-5 other cms before him so that must say something...
Acquah is better than anyone they currently have in CM, yeah I suppose it's good that 3 of them are only loans but still have to admit they are good loans for this season, I also think Vassell looks a promising player & they will have Che Adams back so a bit of pace upfront. I hate blues but I like to be honest with my ratings of players, one thing we can seriously hope for is that the players he called garbage turn on Redknapp or little factions develope at the club, surely the players ain't happy with what he's said & it could turn sour at the club.
-
Hmmmm to be honest I'm slightly worried, Jenkinson is a good defender at right back and centre back. Brammall is easily a better left back then what they have now (grounds lol) brammall is very very fast! Also looks like they are bringing in Gallagher, Downing and Acquah.... hate to say it but all good players that vasty upgrade their poor team, I just hope they take a while to settle.

We have a far superior squad to them we will be nowhere near relegation plus as I said they had a very kind start fixture wise, even for a mediocre side like them I'd of expected 7-10 points from those games, I think they will be near the drop but they may survive.
