  1. Owen Smith seems to be further to the right that Eagle and yet he's running to her left, so presumably his job is to split the Corbyn vote but he doesn't seem to have enough of a lefty background to do that really. I think the party will throw forward some big hitter when things are looking desperate, but they'll still lose because Corbyn has a big base that aren't going away any time soon. A split seems inevitable unless some real shenanigans prevent more voters from having their say or a real quality candidate appears from nowhere.

  2.  If we are going with a 4-2-3-1 (I hate that formation) for the season then we do need a few key players to make it work.

    gollini

hutton (would prefer a new RB but he's ok for our level)
    elphick
    okore
    amavi

    gana
    tshibola

    ?
    Grealish
    ?

    ?

So, as things stand, three key positions need filled (assuming Ayew & Traore go). Gestede just isn't a good enough technical player to play as a lone striker in that system, nor quick enough to play a more counter attacking game away from home.

  3. Poor tournament won by an average team. Delighted that France didn't win it, though. Happy that Wales did considerably better than England.

In the future I'd like to see some reward for attacking football in the group stages. Maybe an extra point for three goals scored or something. Then again stuff like that has the potential to change football completely.

    Is there like, a summary?

Yes, it's called The Executive Summary and it can be found here -http://www.iraqinquiry.org.uk/media/246416/the-report-of-the-iraq-inquiry_executive-summary.pdf

Granted, it is summarizing thousands of pages so it is quite lengthy itself!

If you are looking for a summary of the summary, I'm sure a few papers will get on it soon.

Anyway, thought Corbyn was decent there. Shameful heckles by Labour MPs. No apology though, which is interesting.

  5. Newcastle should walk it with the players and manager they have but it never is that simple. If we sneak second I will be happy. I don't want the playoffs. I couldn't handle the nerves.
