Get rid of humans in the process. Pure rules based decisions done by a machine.
With all the mistakes and uncertainty and time we wait for VAR to make decisions sometimes still incorrectly. I really think they should just let AI run it and the ref is AI’s mouth piece on the field.
Decisions be 100% correct within seconds. -
Amazing record, but pretty shite atmosphere for whatever reason.
Spurs and Newcastle at home are totally different. Cant figure out why, sunday games are shite for atmos generally.
But its a shame.

No villa fans wants them in PL
Ill happily never play them again in my lifetime and let them rot in the lower leagues
Used to say this to my best mate all the time when we were getting into about footy but u genuinely take it back.
We dont have any rivals in the league, i want a spicy game now and then. i miss it.

Thought the atmosphere was good yesterday, it was loud in the Holte End for the majority of the game.
Wish they would stop playing the music though, the one that annoys me the most is straight after the final whistle when the players come over. Leave the music off and let the fans celebrate with the players.
Biggest travesty of the play off final that.
Pumping out absolute shite as the players ran about and fans were celebrating. Really killed the biggest moment in our recent history. -

Friday night 8pm humid atmosphere. Perfect ingredients for noise.
Friday night vs sunday. Never gonna be a comparison really.

Safe standing and noisy section would do wonders.
Easy solution. -

I don’t have anything against him at all. He’s just hilariously Partridge-y in just about everything he does, which is endearing more than anything.
He’s pure partridge ent he

That’s one of my opinions too. We were just so expectant today and probably didn’t feel the need to get up for it ourselves. It was easy today. I actually thought during the game if our atmosphere would get worse if we got into top 4 which is madness really. Sunday games can be a bit dull as well .
All games being Sundays defo a thing too, less people on the piss.
Looking at the footage of spurs ground after games with jealousy at moment, it’s bouncing -

Our sweaty kit is now an internationally famous sweaty embarrassment!
'Aston Villa - the Castore shirt has a problem with sweat' is the headline...
This is pretty bad ain’t it considering how hard we’re trying to raise our profile and commercial revenue.
Heck must be fuming

He’s much stronger than Traore too, muscles people off the ball. Will be very handy for us im sure.

One of the most stop start games I’ve ever been too, impossible to keep an atmosphere going from home or away fans tbf

The Holte sings anyway - the real benefit to doing this would be to put it elsewhere in the ground.
Agreed!

I think an ultra style or singing section would be a good shout that way people can choose to buy their season ticket there or game ticket and get stuck in.
The Scot’s are British and they have some amazing ultra groups / general mint atmospheres and they certainly ent “continental”
Would love the club to encourage it. One small singing section of the lower / upper Holte would in no doubt help the rest of the ground get going

I’m all for that giving tickets away that are unsold but the fact we had to give tickets away is a concern in terms of demand
Think the owners might realise the inflated ST waiting list might not be the indicator they think it is for demand.
We’re not a tourist club and pissing off all the ST holders by adding LG and TV (which I’m not against adding but think you have to upgrade everything else first) isn’t a good idea.
Total balls up those things, money should have been spent elsewhere first.- 1

I wont lie, that was a tough watch tonight, poor atmosphere for the majority, we just couldnt rouse ourselves to play the bosnian minnows and the fans were the same (including me). At one point they lit up 3 flares and i thought our seats were going to go up in flames haha. I was keeping an eye on that fascist skinhead with the megaphone for the first half and dont think he watched a minute of the first 45 mins, he was constantly trying to direct the zrinski ultras to sing. They tried to be all intimidating and then starting waving their scarves around I hope we go to the bosnian backwater and smash them big time on their turf
We started well in the Holte tbf but the pace of the first half totally wiped the atmosphere out.
Did you see though, those flares were actually just bright orange flashing LED lights and they popped white smoke next to it so it glowed like it was flares…
suitably the whole ground gave them a “what the ****, what the ****, what the ducking hell is that!?”
Limbs at the end

For all the end of season celebrations at qualifying for Europe and getting 7th place it does seem to be all falling a bit flat especially as this is our first home game playing European football for ages and it doesn't appear to be a sell out (yet).
If we don't win tonight is this a deliberate tactic of not taking European football seriously then? Is it all about just getting to the best position in the premier league? in that case what is the point?
I wonder if there has been a deliberate change in strategy that because of the amount of injuries at the start of this season the club have decided to "concentrate on the league"....
I hope I am wrong
Looks like it will sell out tbf

Keep debating going, missus is away and I’ve got nothing else planned. It’s a 2 hour drive though and I don’t finish work until 6pm. A 9pm kick off would have been better, I guess it’s too late for UEFA to change it now just for me?
Do it mate, I’m driving up and back from London for it.
