Step dad plays golf with someone at a firm that were approached to do the job and the construction firm didnt want the project. Might not be enough firms willing to even take on the project for whatever reason.

Could park at the westfield in shepards bush and get tube down.
£8 parking and overground to west brompton 2 stops then change onto district line 1 stop to fulham broadway

Suspect alot of its also to do with transport infrastructure and General election this year / BCC being bankrupt will have had an effect.

My only worry is its done badly by and in house team. Depends who they’ve employed to produce it to then sell.
Fingers crossed -

So Heck has confirmed we are filming behind the scenes this season for a documentary in the hope someone will pick it up.
Anyone know if this is normal? I'd have thought a TV company would decide to make a show in advance and then approach the club to make it. Not the club make it then look for a suitor.
Are we marketable in this now crowded market? I wonder who might be interested to show it?
I guess if we do win the league it will be a guaranteed blockbuster. Even qualifying for Champions League would be a David and Goliath show surely?
Finally could this be something to do with Atairos? They've surely got contacts to make this happen.
Did he say which production company were creating it for us?

Sad fact is we need them to help generate income. Especially being outside london.
To get bigger and allow us to spend more on players we need more fans who buy merch.

HS2 will make it easier to get to us than some of the outlying London clubs.
It wont. They’re all on the tube.

They're looking to expand capacity.
A lot of clubs are, at the higher end of the table. How the, er, heck, Heck is going to embiggen VPs capacity I'm not at all sure, potentially by swapping round the second phase (from 50000 to 52000) with the first phase (New North stand) perhaps?
Being in London is a HUGE factor. We simply wont ever get the tourist money they get.

Do their NFL games come into match day revenue?

Something is off with these numbers .... that's about 80 quid per matchday punter for Spurs and 20 quid for a Villa fan
From what i hear the stands are full pre and post games with people boozing.
They do a million game just on booze. The place has been designed so well to extract the maximum they can from fans.
You can see how many tourists are in the stands when they’re on TV.

Ended up not going today for personal reasons but listening on the telly it sounded really good(Optus sports feed)
Never, ever trust the tv. Mic placement, stadium shape, acoustics and good old fashioned just turning up one fader or another is how it comes over on TV.

I think I may have replied to the wrong comment. It wouldn't be the first time.
Hahaha! The post i replied too in context of what i’d said made even less sense. You’ve really in these moments got to wonder what Gresford would have thought.

I just want it treated with the respect it deserves. Talk of playing the kids is just ridiculous, imo.
Hol up!?

Incredibly flat atmosphere today.
We were in the North Stand but normally in the Holte and it was awful. Expectancy? Nervous? Christmas fatigue? Not sure the reason but we absolutely were not the 12th man today.
Same, normally holte, took some newbs so had to be upper north.
That was absolute shite. Guess the period and opponent but not one song carried over.- 1

Didn't know Leon Edwards the UFC welterweight champion was paraded in front of the crowd before the game. Aston born and obviously Aston Villa bred.
Shame they didnt make more of that. Proper.

I thought they had got rid of it?
Maybe officially but sounds like you can just walk down the concourse?

We did this last season, bought tickets that were on general sale from Fulham in the 'home' section of the Putney End then you can just walk into the 'away' blocks (from the concourse not over the netting obviously!) and stand in a space in there, so unless that's dramatically changed you should be fine. Worst case scenario, you just sit in your designated seats, you won't have any bother, it's the most relaxing away day of the lot!
Cheers mate, done it as an away fan in away end plenty of times over the years but trying to bring some people with me this time who would never get away tickets, so was thinking buy in there then walk down concourse and into villa section for the game as we all be standing anyway

Does it still exist? Can you buy in this so called section and go stand with the away fans?
Been offered some tickets in the Putney end nearish away fans but wondered if its blocked off now or still open.Cheers

I heard Everton deserved all 3 points against Spurs.
They did! They were inches away from drawing it, pure lucky save by the keeper last minute too.

Yes I think our squad has shown itself to be significantly worse than Spurs squad several times this season. We won at their place when they had about 6 players out and whilst it was a good win, we barely got over the line.
Had they had Maddison and Bentancur (they had many more out)! and we were missing Watkins and Luiz, I reckon we would have lost heavily.
But my main concern is that we rely solely on Watkins as a striker, due to having absolutely no quality back up.
Spurs are only 3 points behind us despite their ridiculous injury list and when they get the likes of Maddison back, they will push on.
They also have no Euro distraction.
I doubt Buendia coming back will have the same effect, and that's if he comes back this season at all.
I'd be delighted with 5th and it would show real progression. I cannot see us finishing any higher, but it's hard to see us finishing any lower either.
They’re losing son to Asia cup and Sarr / Bissouma to AFCON which might help us.

If chelsea are stopping their expansion because the ROI doesnt work with their fan base and being in london, im sure ours must be even worse.
