I'm afraid the cause is being marred by what seems to be a rather large minority of idiots who don't understand how they are coming across, or simply don't care.
Totally agree, there are some real clowns running Israel.

I've used Retropie lots as I've got about a bazillion raspberry pis knocking about, Retropie is mostly based on EmulationStation, which is a front end to RetroArch. Not sure if EmulationStation is a thing on PC. I did use HyperSpin for the PC in one of my arcade cabinets.
Retropie was dead easy to set up, all you needed to do was point it at your ROM directories and it would do the rest, including scraping game info.

Love a Euro semi final every 42 years or so, me!
I think we get our two goal cushion - 2-0 or 3-1.
I’d like it if we can get more than a 2 goal cushion. I’m still suffering some serious PTSD from the 2002 FA cup game against United and I don’t want to mention this seasons 2 goal cushions.
please win Villa. #UTV
I’m going to go back to the safety of my corner now.

I thought you meant "bigger club that's ever been in Division Three".
There are dozens bigger than small queef who've been there, including us.
good point and very well made. I was thinking just for next season. since you mention the history, there have been a truck load of bigger teams than SHA (Pompey, Bolton, Man City, Fleetwood...). I feel a bit embarrassed now.

Their fans seem excited about League 1 with uncle Tom set to blow the league away with 50 million in transfers apparently.
There has never been a club as big as them in that league and everyone will be in awe of them. This is what they are saying. Seriously.

Probably hit all the key requirements to dovetail perfectly with the level of football that'll be on offer.

Just posting in case it helps someone.
Back in November, my wife went to Latvia and came back really unwell. She went to the doctors, saw a GP, noticed her blood oxygen was low, anti biotics and a few days in bed and she was fine. A week later I felt terrible, spent a week in bed, couldn't get enough air in, coughing etc. Covid tests negative. Went to the doctors, the nurse said no sign of infection go home and it will get better.
Week or so later I was now struggling to breathe normally - again went to doctors. Didn't see a GP, saw some sort of nurse, did the usual observations - "it's a viral infection will get better".
4 days later - I could barely make it up the stairs without vomiting phlegm, high heart rate etc. Went to the doctors, same response. My wife kicked off, told me to go back, I ignored her as I just wanted to sleep and leaving the house was hard at this point.
3/4 days later, I was in bed, and physically could not get enough air in, panting, hallucinating etc. Wife called 999 as at one point I was unresponsive to her; ambulance dispatched, rushed to hospital. I just didn't have the ability to take in enough oxygen, my "resting" heart rate lying in hospital was 140+, I had infections in both lungs at the bottom and within the airwaves. I'd also cracked my left rib from coughing so much for a prolonged time. After 4 weeks of various anti biotics and steroids I recovered.
I'm 36 and now have permanent widening of my airwaves and quite severe scarring of the lungs. Previously, I was playing football twice a week, now I can barely run around with my kids in the back garden. Went to Disney Florida in Feb, spent half the time sitting down on benches. I missed 2 months work and most importantly the Man City and Arsenal games in December.
Moral of the story:
1) Listen to your wife.
2) If you feel something is wrong don't take no for an answer and ensure you see a proper GP. You pay for this service. Don't get fobbed off by under qualified and/or busy staff at the GP's surgery.
I think this cough thing is doing the rounds, the wife works in a school and loads of the staff and kids have *the cough*. One of my lads had it just after Christmas, he's a fit young footballer, it took him until the end of Feb to get rid of the cough. The wife and I caught it sometime in Feb, the wife still has the cough, I blacked out a few times with my coughing fits, thankfully I've not been in hospital but have been on antibiotics. I was weak before I got this infection, I'm proper feeble now.
I agree with @pas5898, point 2 needs a bit of a caveat - If you are lucky enough to be able to make a GP appointment, do it, if not don't hesitate to dial 111 or even 999. I've seen some utter words removed in casualty, there just to get free sandwiches/evening meals - but all that almost deserves a thread of its own.

If my CT scan comes back with nothing I may message you for advice @bielesibubif that's OK. It may not be MS but if it is I think the main thing is a diagnosis.
feel free to message me, if I'm awake and able I'll reply.

Saw a new doctor today as my arms and hands are now in massive pain. He gave me some painkillers and did a blood/urine test. Still waiting on the CT results. In jollier news, due to having no sense of taste, I have lost a stone.
Apologies for chiming in. I was interested to read your previous posts, you mentioned you were worried about MS. You've no doubt googled MS. MS is a many and varied disease, I know full too well. Seems no one person has the same symptoms or has the same path through the illness. I'm now 11 years from being diagnosed, it took the clowns down at Southampton General 2 years to get me diagnosed, another year of cocking about before they put me on any disease modifying meds - the sooner you get put on meds the better it seems. I know a load of people who lead a pretty happy normal life thanks to early diagnosis and DMTs.
My consultant said way back when, MS is usually the last thing they think someone might have because its symptoms masquerade as so many other things.
Did they give you a CT scan or an MRI? If its a CT then they chances are they are looking for something other than MS because a CT doesn't have the accuracy that an MRI does. What pain killers do they have you on, are they neuropathic pain killers?
BTW, I've not heard anyone else have a loss of taste with MS, have you had COVID recently? Good news about the weight loss.

Mine for tomorrow:
I was quite happy when I saw I had 5 winners on ITV7, that happiness didn't last long when I looked and saw about a bazillion people had picked the 7!
-
It's been a while, any tips for Cheltenham?
There's a bucket load of free bets going round, William Hill has a £5 free bet each day. I've put it on Slade Steel in the 1330. As a real outside I've also splashed out a free £1 on Lord Du Mesnil @ 33/1 in the 'there are so many horses anything could happen race'
ITV7 has 100k to win tomorrow. 200k Wednesday, 300k Thursday, 500k Friday, all you've got to do is pick the winners from the 7 races,
Coral have got Racing Super Series where you can win a share of 50k. This is for picking horses that will place, It's on tomorrow, not sure ifs they are doing a daily thing or not.

The transported to Australia bit sounds OK, not sure about the rest.
Has the actual cause of your infections been identified? One GP suggested to me it was bad luck which seemed...rather anti climactic?
I did get the impression that a couple of the GPs expected me to fess up to some unusual sexual habit which may increase my risks, but no.
Yeah, we've had a proper thermometer since the height of Covid. It's quite handy actually. My temp at it's worst was around 38, so not anything that concerning. Yet!
there are a few things wrong, thanks to MS I’ve got a ridiculously over active bladder, I never fully empty my bladder, the flap valve that stops piss going up into my kidney from my bladder is broken and stuck open as a result my bladder squirts stale pee ( the pee that remains when I haven’t fully emptied my bladder) right up the ureter and into my kidney causing recurring kidney infections.
my experience with GPs has been really awful.
you seem to be lined up with a bunch of further tests which is great. Fingers crossed the stars align and they find out what is causing your problems.

Shortly after that I had a lot of trouble urinating, and when I did it was really smelly and cloudy. GP diagnosed me with a Urinary Tract Infection following urine test showing positive for infection, 1 week of antibiotics.
2-3 days after that course, symptoms came back. GP gives me the same prescription for another week, but this time sends me for bloods. Bloods are done, everything checked comes back as within normal levels.
During this time I've started to have pain in my back, sides (kidneys), testicles, thighs, although the UTI symptoms themselves have lessened. The worst thing really is having to get up during the night 2-3 times to urinate which is ruining my nights, bear in mind I also have a 3 year old.
2-3 days after the next course ends, symptoms return. This time the GP diagnoses me with epididymitis aka. poorly bollock tube. Different antibiotics, and this time, 2 week course.
These antibiotics have almost no effect on symptoms it seems, and once the course is finished, my back pain in particular has gotten notably worse.
Fourth GP does a prostate exam and explains one side is enlarged, refers me for the Prostate Serum Antigen blood test, as well as getting me an urgent referral to Urology at the hospital.
PSA test comes back as slightly raised which may be down the infection I have (or have had) but below levels for concern.
Consultant at urology does a prostate exam and says he's not concerned about cancer with that alongside the PSA result. However, he is concerned about the recurring infection which he suggests should be impossible for a male of my age.
So I now have lined up, or will have lined up...an MRI scan, urine flow test, bladder retention test, camera up the wazoo to check my urinary tract test, semen culture test, oh and for me and missus to have STI tests too.
I've never had a hospital admission, broke a bone, and I've been to the GP more times in the last 7 weeks than in the last 20+ years, so it all seems a bit mad.
Unfortunately symptoms of prostatitis and a benign enlarged prostate or prostate cancer are all very similar, although the former appears to be the most likely explanation at the moment...although that's an issue far more common in 60+ years olds (I'm 37). Plus, I've already had 2 weeks of the most likely antibiotics to treat that with little improvement.
So, it probably isn't cancer, but could be, but probably isn't. Dunno. I note that @drat01 advises the chaps to go and get checked out, the prostate exam isn't really that bad. I was geared up for having to have one, but I was sick and tired of feeling...well, sick and tired by that point, so was and remain more than happy to do whatever the heck they want to figure out what's going on.
Name the Final Fantasy thread after me x
I’ve been having very similar problems over the past 7 years. Each time I end up in hospital, get patched up, sent home then we wait for the inevitable kidney pain, temperature, urgency to pee, etc This recurrent infection has made my MS symptoms get gradually worse. I can only get about with a Zimmer frame now! Worst case I had was the start of this year, I had Covid, pyelonephritis and urosepsis. The fever and pain had me hallucinating, I thought at one point I had been teleported to Australia!
Most recently I’ve been in hospital twice, october and November. I’ve been out for 2 weeks. I’ve got a catheter, which is both a pain and a blessing. I’m currently meant to be getting better at home, I sleep most of the day.
from my experience, gps will prescribe you broad spectrum antibiotics where you probably need a fairly specific type. In my case this is usually done a couple of days after the broad spectrum antibiotics haven’t worked and after a culture blood test is taken and a specific antibiotic is then given. This is happens only if I am in hospital though.
if your temperature goes over 39, don’t mess around call 999. have you got a thermometer at home?
For pain and temperature relief keep taking paracetamol, as much as you are allowed of course. I found morphine was the only thing that really took away the pain, it also had me watching the telly tubbies dance around in a picture on the hospital ward wall.
Apologies if this makes no sense, after my latest stint in hospital I’m really struggling to make my mind work properly. I’ll go back to bed now.- 1

Still recovering from my 3rd time, got it 7 weeks ago (though was followed by a nasty nursery derived cold that turned into a chest infection). First time was awful (Mar 2020, took a couple of months to recover properly), second time was short and sharp but OK. This time I still feel a bit of a wreck.
I resent the symptomless bastards and long for a return to accessible vaccines.
Given swine flu also took me out pretty quickly, it's safe to say that I wouldn't last beyond the first 5 minutes of any pandemic based disaster film.
Doubt if I’d make it as far as the opening credits
