I guess LG is talking about the VIP area he would have been invited to. It would be the same at Villa or any other ground, you can’t be shouting and being a dick in there. The rest of the stadium will be absolutely fine for making lots of noise in and having a few drinks.
Yep. To go in VIP and then complain about people's respectable conduct, rather than going in the stands like a real fan, says it all about the bloke.
I really couldn't despise that club more if I tried.

Looking at that table, there's a LOT of very beatable sides in the CL next season.

Can you imagine us congratulating grealish for winning premier league or champions league with city.
I would be utterly embarrassed
I swear bellingham only played two seasons in their first team as well? Its absolutely humiliating the way they going on like he did 10 years service ans did so much for them.
They have a new "Jude" thread every day. All saying how amazing he is and how proud they are.
They have also convinced themselves that he will go back there in a few years when they are in the Champions League.
Say what you want about their owners, but you have to give them credit for getting their fans to believe all their bollo*ks.

I've never seen a player leave a club as quickly as Bellingham left Blues. If he is a bluenose then he has done a remarkable job of hiding it.
The second he could legally be sold, he was gone. Literally couldn't have got out of there any quicker if he tried.
And they love him for it.

6 wins from 11 years, amazing. I hope Unai is plotting something similar
Yep. To be bigger cheats than Man C115y takes some doing. But these p****s have been making a mockery of football for decades. There couldn't be a less worthy winner of the Champions League than this lot and 15 times just shows you have much they have taken the piss out of the system for so, so long.

The irony of them retiring the number 22 shirt for Jude Bellingham, only to get relegated by finishing 22nd in the Championship. Lol

Can't believe, after what happened at the end of last season, we have people in here talking about how he won't fit out best XI. Who cares, football is such a squad game now, he's either first off the bench or pushes someone else to the bench and makes our XI stronger.
Sign him up, and bring in more.
Whilst I understand the sentiment, as fans, we aren’t fully aware of our current PnS situation and the limitations that the club faces to build the squad.
I think we would all love to sign quality players as back up for our CL campaign but the financial restrictions mean we have to be realistic in our expectations.
I trust the process and I'm happy that we won't sacrifice our future for a moment of glory.
We can't all break the rules remember.

Real Madrid at VP next season will be something to behold. When the Spanish decend on New Street;
Hola mate, es tu primera vez en el Shakespeare?
No puedes beber en la ciudad si no estas un Zulu.

Come on £30 million for Luiz, you ate having a laugh. He's got to be worth upwards of £70 million.
Yep. 70-80mil is where I see his value.
30mil is just ridiculous.

Just saw the score. Pissed off it wasn't us tbh. We were so unlucky in that 1st leg and thats where we lost it.
Our goals disallowed, deflected goal from them, blatant penalty not given.
Oh well, they are still playing Thursday night football next season whilst we are in the Champions League.
We do need to win something soon though.

Miguel Delaney was saying otherwise today. That’s why there’s chatter again.
Well what I have heard is that he wants to stay at Chelsea but if he does move it wont be to us.
That said, it was a couple of weeks ago I was told that and things can change quickly in football. Especially during transfer windows.
Personally, I wouldn't mind him as I think Emery would get the best out of him as he does with almost ever player he manages.
Don't expect it to happen though.

Not a gut feeling. He just isn't likely to move as far as I'm aware.

We aren't signing him. I'm sure of that.

My missus is Mexican too. From Mexico City. Her first game was when I took her to the at the Azteca for an Americas game. Her 2nd game was Southampton away when Smith got sacked. Lol.

Not sure how anyone could bring themselves to watch the ECL final after going out in the semis.
I certainly couldn't.

Just an FYI, Club America is, by far, the most well supported club in the US. And their fans can get rowdy.
When they came to Columbus last year, there were definitely not so many, shall we say, pleasant encounters.
I went to a home game of theirs at the Azteca a few years back as my missus is from Mexico City. It was against Tigres who are from a rival city (Monterrey) and there was no trouble at all.
As an aside, how are a Mexican club the most well supported football team in the US?

It does tickle me, when teams are gassed after an arduous, season, then go on International duty and pre-season tours.
All the mitigation, gets rolled out, for lack of legs in league games......and then the above.
It's pre-season. They have to play warm up games as they are professional athletes.
If they didn't play them overseas then they would still need to play them. What's 8 hours in business class gonna do to tire them out more?

Imagine getting to CL first time in 40 years and wanting to play energy drink company ffs
Yeah I am shocked that anyone would choose Leipzig instead of the glamour ties that we all wanted to qualify for.
They would be the very last team I would choose.

The problem with the question is that it doesn't allow for the fact that seeing X team at Villa Park, means that we won't get to see us play at their place.
For example, I would absolutely love to see us play at the Bernabeu, so I didn't vote for Real Madrid in this poll. If the question was who would I like to see us play home and away then it would 100% be Real Madrid.

Im baffled, how did he not even make the provisional squad?
So he isn't one of the best 9 Spanish defenders? Ok well then I expect Spain to win the Euros without conceding a goal if that's the case.
Madness.

I'll be honest, although I love watching him play, McGinn's comments after the Liverpool game made me a bit concerned about his attitude. I was expecting him to be effusive after the goals, being a young lad and all, but calling him a nightmare at that point was a bit telling, I reckon.
I'd take £40M for him, for sure.
That said, Emery wouldn't do anything to destabilise the squad, so whatever action he deems fit is fine by me.
Yeah totally agree. For McGinn to say that, on top of what Emery has said is not a good look.
If we get 30mil plus for him then we have had their pants down and I'd be delighted.
Regarding the Balotelli comparisons, here is what Balotelli has won:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mario_Balotelli
Inter Milan
- Serie A: 2007–08, 2008–09, 2009–10[5]
- Coppa Italia: 2009–10[5]
- Supercoppa Italiana: 2008[5]
- UEFA Champions League: 2009–10[5]
Manchester City
Italy
- UEFA European Championship runner-up: 2012[5]
- FIFA Confederations Cup third place: 2013[304]
Individual
- Golden Boy: 2010[305]
- UEFA Euro Team of the Tournament: 2012[306]
- Serie A Team of the Year: 2012–13[307]
- FIFPro World XI 4th team: 2013[308]
- UNFP Ligue 1 Player of the Month: March 2019
And that is why I get frustrated when people talk about Duran's supposed talents and potential.
He has done nothing at all to justify the claims or price tag of anyone like Balotelli. He has so far to go and with his attitude as it is, I don't see him making it.
As a point of comparison in terms of age, Balotelli had won back to back Serie A titles by age 18 and the Italian league and cup double at 19. By 21 he had won the Premier League and FA Cup double as well.
Whatever Duran is, Balotelli he is not.

Yeah I agree with that totally. But his attitude stinks.
