Hearing reports that Paul Mitchell has been found dead in his house/flat not sure how true ....

Maybe it's me then, I haven't seen alot of him but what I have seen I think ....meh  & I'm a Postman so listen to alot of Talkshite & 5 live, & it's all about the top 6 & Newcastle. I like the fact we're going under the radar as such. Suppose being mid table your not going to get as much exposure than teams higher up the league

And to be fair to him of course Bruno gets in our team, same as kamara gets in theirs, both teams combined the midfield 3 would be kamara, Luiz and Bruno and would probably be very good 

Maybe it's me as a villa fans but I would take Luiz over Guimaraes but I suppose Newcastle fans would take Guimaraes over Luiz 

I get he is good ....   ward-prose is a good player, its the hype the media give him & the Newcastle fans. Hearing no hype around Kamara only us fans how good he is, but suppose Newcastle are the media darlings now there owned by a country.

Wow can't remember the last time he featured in a premier league game & hasn't played for some time due to injury & he gets panned for a 20 minute substitute apparence this site is bonkers 

Think we have to be pretty much perfect with all our remaining game to nick a European spot & that's with all the teams above having a wobble, don't see it happening. Which is fine it's all about the summer window & next season for me. Just imagine if we'd of started the season with Unai Emery, most definitely be bang in that European race maybe be even knocking on the door of champions league, that's based on his record so far since joining & only added 1 signing in January, the mouth waters if he can bring 3 or 4 more top quality signings in the summer

I think at no point has he ever really been played in his best position. I think he would be seen to best effect in RM or maybe LM with a CB playing in th full back position behind him. This means he can run from deeper on the pitch the he does when played up top as a forward. 

Also he starts all our away games for a reason, pace is a threat and with him and Watkins up top opposition teams need to worry about us on the counter attack. Our away form has been excellent and opposition teams need to worry about 2 players on the counter than just one if we played Buendia with Watkins

Totally agree his best position is on the wings probably left wing he is no forward but I get with his pace away from home why he plays as the 2nd striker teams will then sit alittle deeper making the pitch bigger for how we play out from the back ... & yep totally agree regards upgrades in the summer, crossing all my fingers & toes for Niko Williams to be wearing a Aston Villa shirt next season

Listen to a podcast with Dan Bardell yesterday morning & he had the European football expert Kevin Hatchard & they were talking about Bailey on there, Bardell mentioned how inconsistent he was & asked how he was in the Bundesliga & Hatchard said he was just as inconsistent he was in Germany. He would have 2 good games then have 4 or 5 quiet games. I'm prepared to give him next season under Emery & with more winger & forward players coming over the summer he will have to fight for his place, if anybody can get the best out of him it will be Emery. I do think there is a player in there somewhere.

Massive hole in our midfield for the next few weeks, him & Dougie are the 2 midfielders that help us play out from the back, with only one left in the squad that can do this we may have to tweak how we play, as Dendonker or Chambers haven't the calmness or the ability to play like this be a car crash. Be interesting how wo cope without Kamara for the next few weeks as he is one of two world class players we have in our squad. Massive miss, but I'm sure Emery will be able to tweak the way we play for awhile

Been in my van all morning & not once heard Talksport mention this even on the hourly news bulletins & yep if any of the top 6 or Newcastle you can bet they'd be all over it ... 

Not so much his defensive side of his game but definitely his passing & his movement around the pitch with the ball, he reminds me of Gareth Barry when he was at his best.

3 or 4 more players at the same level as him & we've got a strong team, add Unai Emery into that & next season could be epic.

Yep that shot that hit the bar (saved onto the bar) if had gone in, the tone of this thread would be very different. 

Watching his Youtube highlights, looks very similar to how Matteo Guendouzi plays interesting 

Love watching him, makes the game look so easy, he seems to have more time on the ball than most, exceptional player.

Just play him till end of season with Watkins ... get him ready for next season ... looks the business think we have unearthed a beast here, doesn't look out of place at all granted only 2 subs appearances but alot yo like 

He has been poor recently but still think his best position is on the wing that's where he has been at his best for us, playing him up top in a front 2 doesn't work  I'd be inclined to play him next week against Arsenal in a front 3 of Bailey, Duran & Watkins ... with Duran through the middle. It's all well & hood saying he is shit but we rarely play him in his best position. He is frustrating but there is a player in there we've seen it in parts

Has to start for me next week against Arsenal.... seems to be getting into some sort of form ...

That's unfortunate, so you wasn't wrong in what you was hearing from the sonos, shame as if your TV was compatible with the sonos you wouldn't of been disappointed. What did you go with in regards a sound bar ?
