I wouldn't be inclined to believe it, they don't have the contacts VT has so they've probably plucked it out of thin air unless 'thetrees' tells us otherwise. Stick to VT, and welcome to the greatest Villa Fan site around.

I think Randy's gone home safe in the knowledge he's got his man, and knows nothing can be done during the weekend. I'm hopeing we'll see him return the beginning of next week to conclude a deal.

Very interesting stuff from GT, he' thinks like the majority of us, that MON is no mugg and wouldn't take the job if he thought Doug was staying.

Ok, so after watching the press conference, is anyone is any doubt about doug leaving? He really didn't have much of a clue what was going on, and along with MON not being able to say alot and not having a real answer about transfer funds, i think it's clear the new era is upon us. I can't wait.

Did anyone see that Pete Colley feature from VP? Anyone know the guy in the jazzy shirt, the only adult villa fan with his head screwed on who they interviewed. Is there any chance the takeover could be concluded today? i'm clutching at straws really but if the supposed time of the conference isn't till after the LSE closes it jst seems alittle odd.

I think it's a good thing that people in the know 'don't really know at the moment', all the leaks have put obvious preasure on the deal and all parties involved, its odd though that the leaks seem to be coming from the top level at villa.

This saga is driving me mad, each morning i get up i'm hoping there'll be an announcement but still there's silence. I think i'd have prefered it if we didn't know a thing, that way we could of had the euphoria of when the deal was complete instead of jst breathing a sigh of relief.

Well, i've waisted another day, off to see the misses. I'm not gonna hold my breath about anything happening tonight. But i fully expect this thread to have gained another 10 pages at least before the nights out.
