  1. As many folk on here already know Stan Petrov is making his mark in over 35's football, his team Wychall are in action in another cup final this Sunday am against a team called Monica Star, champions of the top division (one above Wychall) and with their own stars such as *carsley and devlin* but notably Lee Hendrie too, so worth a trip to Boldmere St Michaels at 10.30 to watch this

  3. Apparently Burnley will definitely count for those interested, due to the fact it is non-refundable.

    *when they go on sale!

  4. So it looks like if I book tickets for Everton, West Ham and Burnley they will all count towards my booking history? Might do Southampton as well to get me up to 8.

Better than paying £500 quid for Club Wembley.

I'm dubious about the Brunley and Southampton games, I know it states including games stiil to be played will count but I can't help thinking that it may be a badly worded bit from the ticket office (not for the first time) and they are talking about the Everton , WH and City games as they will have actually been played by the first window just not yet. Best bet is to ask them I guess.

  5. Going to be touch and go for me getting a ticket for the final with that sales criteria. Will be in the 11 May 9AM lot, if I'm quick/lucky I should be ok. On another note, that day is my birthday, so can't think of a better birthday present than securing a ticket.

Don't think you'll be touch and go in that category, think you'll be fine.

  6.

How do you go about buying tickets for Club Wembley?

Plenty of overtime and weekend work!

I predict the same criteria as for the semi final, but there will be a new window for people who have purchased a season ticket for next season. Will help Villa drive ST sales

    Linkage dude?

I think he's just hazarding a guess, can't see it myself as there'll be no games yet played etc and imagine the fuss if we happened to shift another 20,000 season tickets!

  7. Will they count games yet to be played (i.e. Buy tickets for last 3 home games?)

    no
Depends on the sales window, if there are windows after the west ham and Everton games they will, so I reckon west ham could be beneficial but we will probably have sold out pre Everton, ps not disputing your point CAW!

We play West Ham after Everton?

Details will be announced this week so you can work out if going to either or both of these games will help.

Yeah sorry getting my dates confused, just switch round what I said and that's my point! But as you say only gotta wait til this week and all will be clear...,

  9. 12 home games and all the cup games yet I am highly doubtful I will get one.

Why? Outside of holding a season ticket that is as good as it gets.

I am quite the pessimist. I can't have a season ticket cause I work every other Saturday but if I can go then I do. I am just worried that away games may get put in the mix and then I am screwed.

Pure guesswork here but the club have set the precedent for the QF and SF criteria, ie prioritising cup attendance, at at guess I reckon after STHs and villa cash they'll go 10 homes games (including all 5 cup games) and go down from there....ps I appreciate the sf wasn't a home game!

  10. Had it confirmed by a mate who works for Virgin that no alcohol will be permitted on Sunday's services from Birmingham Moor Street, roll on the bottle of coke that smells funny  B)

Virgin don't run from Moor Street.

I think he was passing on the information from someone that works in the industry, so to speak.

  11. Well done Chewie....I think you'll be o.k with Chelsea and Liverpool (although the odds for the other team and draw would be quite good I'd imagine so probably worth putting an insurance 50 quid on all of those scenarios).

Think if Man. United get the first goal they'll win quite comfortably.

BTW a few weeks back I had Russia to win their game in Montenegro. Obviously it got all called off and now I see Russia got awarded 3-0 win, is that match void or is the bet still valid with the bookies?

It was void at the time (well within 24 hours I think) and that's it done...

  12. It won't go on general sale now we have Liverpool,

However i do think it will go down to just any booking history next week.

I hope they will exclude the booking history from the Liverpool match at VP if that is the case.

That's a very good point, imagine them tossers piping up at wembley where they shouldn't be >:-)

  13. I loved last night anyway because I'm pretty sure that if QPR had come to Villa Park in that frame of mind against a Lambert side

The Lambert side around the time he got sacked? Agreed we'd have probably lost last night.

But not any lambert side. We had pretty much exactly the same fixture against them 2 seasons back remember?

Which also coincided with what was probably Lamberts best spell at the club, one where he set us up to have a go and try and win games, could argue that post that spell it all went a bit tits up!

  14. Ah just realised Richardson is playing. Bollocks. Lowton seemed good at LB, certainly better than Richardson.

Couldn't disagree more. Lowton is barely an ok lb.

Exactly at last we actually have every player playing in a position that's natural to them (maybe not Bacuna), any chance to have a pop at anything though, come on lads lets do it. UTV

  15. Surprised (given how long both clubs have been languishing at the bottom echelons of the league) that as soon as it was moved to a midweek slot, that Sky didn't decide to show it... This is exactly the sort of game that Alan Parry or Rob Hawthorn would get all melodramatic about jostling their foreskins back and forth in some kind of frothy eulogy... Big club on the verge of relegation... little QPR doing it against all the odds etc...

This match is ripe for another late winner - sadly, we've already used ours up for this season.

3 points please Villa, and bucket full of goals. Raaaaaaah!

And given it was due to be on Sky originally, very odd.

  16. This will be the last home game to help those stuck on the following.

Tuesday 07 April 2015 (09:00): Supporters who have a 2+ game booking history for the FA Cup campaign and have attended 2+ Premier League fixtures this season.

Thursday 09 April 2015: Supporters who have attended 5+ matches in the 2014-2015 season.

Unfortunately it won't make a difference to the Tuesday a.m criteria as the game won't have been played.

    @ 21.45pm Online it will  ;)

    I reckon 21.53 ;-p

  18. If Zog, Hutton, Clark can turn their careers around for us then there is hope for Weimann

Gabby was getting dog's abuse a few weeks back (deserved mostly) then he started scoring again.

I know Zog and Gabby have more to do, but Weimann has the pace and the scoring ability he just needs confidence.

There's far more about NZog, Hutton and Clark (natural ability) and Gabby (raw pace which is still a threat) compared to the work rate Weimann had pre contract 2 years ago, he's a waste of a shirt that pisses his contract up the wall on a weekly basis and laughs at those who pay his way whilst doing so! word removed!
