MON sounds like a beaten man who has gotten it wrong and is fast running out of games. At the moment he's doing a Brian Kerr, but were it not for those last minute goals, it'd be a Staunton.

I never said they weren't motivated, I said the pressure had been lifted and subconsciously they weren't playing for their lives any more. Every single player would've wanted to win, but I think the pressure lifting just flipped a switch and focus went

I don't buy that sorry. The pressure hadn't been lifted against Southampton and we were battered. I think that game did for us in the final to be honest. It completely slaugtered all of the new found confidence, and the players almost to a man reverted to type.

Whatever, I think any team in championship would have made a better fist of that final - it was embarassing. Lets not forget Wigan won the cup after being relegated a couple of years back.

Lack of organastion and preparation was significant in our wembley no show.

A part of me thought he'd stay. I don't know why.

I hope he goes Spain, Italy or Germany! I can't stand the idea of seeing him playing against us next season.

I guess there is but surely they'd be talking about it and wrapping it up now? Assume you can do that with a player you still own even if out on loan?

I honestly think he is integral to our squad for next season.

Players like him would be out of our price range if we had to pay full price for him so we need to do everything we can to get him on a free.

I was thinking this. I'd he doesn't sign, it leaves a huge gap in our midfield.

I think he kind of owes us for pissing about on deadline day and forcing it to be a loan when we had the deal all agreed.

You could reverse that and say why should he give us anything the way a good number of supporters treated him! And his performances were purely down to being utilised the wrong way, never gave anything less than 100% though. But ultimately yeah hope he realises us and him are a good match and signs a nice 4/5 year deal.

Didn't Mr Adams go on record to say we are "pointless" a few years back.
