They can't do it on a mild, sunny afternoon in May either.Roberto Firmino, can he do it on a cold wet night in Stoke?
Doesn't matter, none of the other Liverpool players can anyway.

I think MON will finally crack the top 4 this time roundMON sounds like a beaten man who has gotten it wrong and is fast running out of games. At the moment he's doing a Brian Kerr, but were it not for those last minute goals, it'd be a Staunton.
I really want him to turn it around, for the sake of a trip to France next summer. That team is interesting. I know nothing about Murphy other than that he scored a good few goals this year in the championship. Would have liked to have seen him with McGoldrick

Wigan were relegated after winning the cup, that was significant in their relegation, think it shows that certains games/performances can have an effect or take their toll.I never said they weren't motivated, I said the pressure had been lifted and subconsciously they weren't playing for their lives any more. Every single player would've wanted to win, but I think the pressure lifting just flipped a switch and focus went
I don't buy that sorry. The pressure hadn't been lifted against Southampton and we were battered. I think that game did for us in the final to be honest. It completely slaugtered all of the new found confidence, and the players almost to a man reverted to type.
Whatever, I think any team in championship would have made a better fist of that final - it was embarassing. Lets not forget Wigan won the cup after being relegated a couple of years back.
Lack of organastion and preparation was significant in our wembley no show.

A part of me thought he'd stay. I don't know why.
I hope he goes Spain, Italy or Germany! I can't stand the idea of seeing him playing against us next season.
This is Yorke Mk2
Well fingers crossed he does a Yorke and scores his last Villa goal as the winner against Arsenal!

545 row 11 for the semi, requested 545 as close to the front as possible for this and got 545 row 1

I hope John Carver still wants the job.
I'd love to hear him try and justify why he should have it.
One point he's managed (I think). ONE. POINT.
It's entirely new levels of shiteness.
Unfortunately he managed 3 against us...they'd be down by now if not for that...damn it!

It's the Great Midlands Fun Run the day after. I imagine there may be a few last minute drop outs
Yeah my mom and sisters will have to make do with their sponsorship money, I know where I'll be!
-
I'll be there. Sometimes being a referee has it's upsides. Cannot wait.

So they booed sterling at the awards, that just lacks class! But we all knew they did anyway.
Why do teams have their award ceremonies before the end of the season?
Liverpool's season officially ended late afternoon on Sunday 19th April. The remaining games have merely been a range of testimonials to the great man himself

Leicester beating United at home has to top it surely?!
-
Apparently the lower tier is sold out, I reckon this will sell very early Wednesday
Source?
That's a shame if true. But if the lower has only just sold out, there has to be at least 3/4k left?
My wife! Well actually that's what all the ticket office staff were saying when she got ours this morning, she got to the counter by about 10.15.....
As for figures pass, I don't know when the blocks change from green to Amber if that makes sense?!

Yep, Jagielka has confirmed before that that's actually how you pronounce it.
Hate to say this but that's his actual family name.Niall Quinn continually pronouncing Jagielka...Yagielka.
What a boring, boring man he is too.
Just sayin'.
So for once, Quinn is actually right.
More than once, he's actually the only one correctly pronouncing the silent 'M' in Guzan, keep up the good work Nail (tool)!

Any chance of Man U giving him a new contract?
I guess there is but surely they'd be talking about it and wrapping it up now? Assume you can do that with a player you still own even if out on loan?
-
I honestly think he is integral to our squad for next season.
Players like him would be out of our price range if we had to pay full price for him so we need to do everything we can to get him on a free.
I was thinking this. I'd he doesn't sign, it leaves a huge gap in our midfield.
I think he kind of owes us for pissing about on deadline day and forcing it to be a loan when we had the deal all agreed.
You could reverse that and say why should he give us anything the way a good number of supporters treated him! And his performances were purely down to being utilised the wrong way, never gave anything less than 100% though. But ultimately yeah hope he realises us and him are a good match and signs a nice 4/5 year deal.

Didn't Mr Adams go on record to say we are "pointless" a few years back.
Yeah it was in the week leading up to the start of the season though

That move on 20 odd minutes was 49 passes and was only stopped by a foul on delph, who actually had put grealish in who could in turn have put tekkers in if crapenburg had played advantage.
I counted it as 48, Sherwood out!
But yeah remember watching it at the game and making sure I noted it on game of the day, loved this as it wasn't just meaningless passing it was probing at them looking for that opening and took Delph being hacked down to stop it, love it!

Hutton back in unbalances Sherwood's current approach I think. I'd stick with Bacuna.
I think Hutton is pretty decent getting forward.
He really isn't though is he. Does he even have an assist this season?
Compare that to Bacuna who has played far less games....
Same amount of goals though..... ;-p
Technically Hutton has more, Bacuna's was in the cup.....
We'll I didn't like to say! For what it's worth I think Bacuna is well worthy of keeping his place.
