Also unless Bissouma is realistically considered to be a risk of never returning, travel would not be prevented. But yes it would indicate that it is a lower level sexual offence where chance of prison is low.

Regardless, I only want us to even consider signing him if the investigation is closed. To be fair I don’t think any club will go near him until that is resolved.

And to be fair, if he's guilty of any sexual offense he's not a a character I want in the team regardless of how good he is

Bissouma would be a fantastic signing.  Not much detail on his alleged offense, but from what I can gather it was in a busy nightclub so hopefully gropey not rapey...?

I think it's more to do with their relationship rather than his status. We signed Buendia over arsenal, and ings and bailey before Gerrard who are massive signings

Yes, we're wealthy enough to pay his wages, but this doesn't happen if Gerrard doesn't speak to him personally, at length. 

And it sounds like if it happens it's because coutinho believes Gerrard is the man to get the best out of him

I think Gerrard will make us harder to beat by being compact and disciplined.  So, it makes sense to get the very highest quality up top to make sure we convert the small amount of chances we create maybe

I'm still 100% in, but a concern is that he's another player who is expecting and likely promised to start when fit alongside Bailey, Buendia, Ings, Watkins etc regardless of form.  And is he "the grit" that we are apparently missing?  He would add to the non grit for me.

Either way get him signed
