  1. I suspect that she's thin because she's an incredibly in demand woman in the public eye who's expected to look very glamorous, and that's a hell of a lot of pressure to put on her.

Most people who have significant stomach surgery lose weight simply because they can't eat solids at first, then have to build it back up. This may account for the extra weight loss, and not anorexia. It's an awful label to put on someone.

    2) If you feel something is wrong don't take no for an answer and ensure you see a proper GP. You pay for this service. Don't get fobbed off by under qualified and/or busy staff at the GP's surgery.

Agree with this. I was bleeding out of my back passage for 9 months after first seeing a GP, in constant agony, before I saw a specialist. They fobbed me off and said to me to come back in 6 months and to see if it was still happening. Made a GP appointment the next day to see somebody else and was quickly sent for an urgent referral at a different trust. A week later I was immediately hospitalized after seeing an amazing consultant and two weeks later I was diagnosed with UC and feeling better after being hooked up to IV steroids.

I had a CT scan and still waiting the results. My hope is after that, if it doesn't turn anything up I will have an MRI. Noone at this point has mentioned MS, it may be that they are ruling things out. The meds for my pain is Naproxen and Omeprazole.

If my CT scan comes back with nothing I may message you for advice  @bielesibubif that's OK. It may not be MS but if it is I think the main thing is a diagnosis.

Omeprazole is for acid reflux usually, it's not for pain. I take it as I get chest pain that feels like a heart attack, and that totally clears the symptoms.

Regarding some of the issues you've reported, they could be auto immune related. I have UC, an auto immune condition, and over the last 2 years I've been diagnosed with a few other conditions including Reynauds, Bile acid malabsorbtion, and reactive arthritis. I've also been diagnosed with multiple undiagnosed autoimmune conditions that overlap, which I may never get an answer on.

The main thing I'm trying to say is that the more tests they do the more they can rule out cancer and other diseases that can end life prematurely. Unfortunately, with autoimmune diseases the saying that misery loves company is especially true. The majority of people with a single autoimmune disease will go on to have others. Fortunately, a lot of medicines for these conditions overlap, and once they figure out the right meds for person to be on life can improve. I changed my UC medication to suit both the UC and arthritis and I have no joint pain most of the time.

I may be well off the mark, but I'm just trying to give you hope that things go get easier, once you get on track with the tests. Unfortunately it just takes time. Best of luck.

  4. A lot of these SUV issues would be better if public transport was effective and reasonably priced. I have a Seat Ateca for the main reason we love going places with our dog, and the Ateca gives us the space we need for him and us.

If I could take a family of 4 on a train to the beach for less than the cost of a holiday deposit I'd be inclined to do that instead. Then factor in reliability and punctuality of public services then it's a no brainer.

I do agree that quite a lot of people like to own certain SUVs because of the brand though. These people are morons, usually driven by people in gym gear who never go to the gym.

Been watching "The rise and fall of Boris Johnson" on the telly box.

I cannot believe how out of his depth this fool was....

The worst thing is that most of the Tories knew exactly what he was but went along with him anyway.

I know we're not supposed to like him, but in the rise and fall.... Corbyn's views on him were funny. You could tell he didn't say what he wanted to, but knew exactly what he meant.

Constant stench of weed everywhere now. Disgusting.

People's attitudes to it are so relaxed. Walking through town with my family last weekend, there was a bloke in his forties with his family, he had a big fat joint behind his ear and he stank of it. I think I it smell more often than cigarette smoke now.

  7. Finished "The Rise and Fall of Boris Johnson". Obviously made me very angry, but at the end of the 4th episode I said to my wife that they've left out so much. They could have made 40 episodes, so much was left out or barely covered.

All that Labour need to do at the next election is get people to watch this. Every single Tory knew what he was, and yet they went along with him every step of the way.

Special mentions to Hancock and Javid for continuing to lie about having morals and being ignored. Words removed.

  8. Best theory I've heard is that Kate's "disappearance" and lack of clarity on it is being used to distract people from Gaza and Ukraine. People love their celebrity driven news.

Didn't he manage at club level before at Boro and was terrible from what i remember?

Relegated them the year after they got to the UEFA cup final, signed Alfonso Alves for £12million, and sold Yakubu who was replaced by Mido.

And I think we should play 4-2-3-1

Gk will be dinosaur arms because of his kicking and he's very much part of the never let me down gang

Walker - Konsa - up for grabs - up for grabs

    Stones - rice

    Saka - Bellingham - foden

    Kane

Attacking LWB as stones and Walker can cover, we'd effectively play 3 when in attack using the LB like Moreno

No chance Maguire misses out, unless through injury. His preferred team is

    Pickford

    Walker Stone Maguire Trippier

    Rice Bellingham Philips/Henderson

    Saka Kane Foden/Rashford

What's frustrating is that Walker won't get forward, Henderson will drop behind Stones and Maguire to get the ball and slow us down,  Rice won't be much different even though he's shown he's good in a more offensive role for Arsenal, Bellingham won't be able to push forward like he does for Real, and Foden won't be effective having to chase balls over the top down the channels. That's without Kane dropping into midfield and RB.

Zackly. One person severely disturbed = X. 2000 (say) people more minorly disturbed= ?  Where do you draw the line? Is it mathematical or is it not like that?  Maths says at some point you push the person off and crack on. But that doesn't seem right, yet at some level it is the judgement, it's (in maths terms) not so different to "do you shoot the suicide bomber vest person to save the hostages".

I am of course evil for even pondering such matters.

But then that becomes another philosophical question, does logical decision making trump emotive decision making? Based on the pure maths, logic tells us that the good of many will quickly outweigh the good of the few, or the individual. Human emotion would likely put the person at risk as the most important in the scenario, especially if it was someone close to you. Socrates would have loved this. We can also see this played out at national level, with the Tory response to Covid, in my opinion. And this is a very emotive subject.

  12. I hope Bentancur is looking to lay one on Cash. Tell the ref about it at the start of the game, and as soon as he goes near him go down. Also means if he's focused on that he won't be doing his job.

I'd be in his ear as well, wind him right up.

  13. If Ollie maintains his current form till the end of the season Safegate will be hammered in the media if he doesn't make the England squad. Since Unai came in Watkins has been one of the best forwards in Europe based on his numbers. Just like it did with Jack, it took the media pundits a long time to realise how good he is. Now they have, they'll talk him up all the time.

He's also done it big games to, against top opposition. There's not much more he can do.

I didn’t see the speech but just reading about it on Sky News (it’s not on the bbc homepage which is surprising).

I can’t believe Rishi Sunak, who has appointed, defended and promoted several people with extreme and racist views said we should all be concerned about extremism… he’s taking the piss right?

The party that gave us Brexit. The party of racism. The party of corruption. The party of sexism. The party of bullying. But the PM thinks that WE need to change our ways to love our neighbours.

It's just another play from the Tory divisive playbook. "Look at this minority, they're the cause of xyz problems...". The racists and morons will lap it up, and instead of people realising what they have in common they'll be dicks to the people the PM is pointing at.

  15. The older I get the more I'd like to believe, but then I can't believe in an all powerful deity that would give children terminal cancer. Also think I'm at that stage of my life where I'm closer to the end than the start, I'm in denial and will stop caring when I get to acceptance.

Afterlife is bs. There's no tangible soul, we're a series of electrical signals and bad impulse control.

I do respect an individual's right to believe though, just don't like organised religion in any form (except being a villa fan).
