I'd give him game time. He looks like he is ready to make the step imo.

Shin splints can take an age to heal if they never get rested long enough, 8 weeks out with shin splints is nothing, a truly frustrating injury to have, as until you are playing/training you won’t know if you are healed fully, you could think you are fully healed and then once force starts going through the bones again the shin splints come back.
Depends how bad the shin splints are in the first place, if they are bad, you could be out for 6 months +.
Yes, Andy Cole was out for ages with shin splits when at Utd (9 months I think).

Rafa is going to Spurs when José leaves.

It really shows what he's like, need to get some points, 2-0 down and still had 10 men behind the ball.
One goal happened after a sub. Did they forget to tell the person where to go also?

Worse thing is they've Lawro look like a genius.

Hope it's Lampard and all his pals gush at how lucky they are to have him.

Like clockwork he is. Total arsehole.
Story out from Sheffield Wednesday accounts that Newcastle paid £6.5m for the privilege of taking him off their hands.
I can imagine Sheffield Wednesday were like:

Newcastle v Aston Villa (20:00 GMT)
Aston Villa are still missing Jack Grealish but Newcastle are worse off injury-wise, and are going to be without Callum Wilson, Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron until the start of April, after the international break.
Both of these sides drew last time out, Villa against Wolves and Newcastle at West Brom - which was not exactly a thriller.
I have a feeling this game will be cagey too. The Magpies need the points more, but I think they will still focus on making themselves difficult to beat rather than going all-out for a win.
Lawro's prediction: 1-1
Frank's prediction: 0-2

Lennon and Heckingbottom are joint favourites for the job. Lennon would be a bad move.

At Marseille he formed good links with the left hand side of his team.
Do you mean Amavi? Read that Arsenal are looking at getting him.

Cutler should give a big hug, that should sort him right out.

Look at this rubbish player relying on slide tackles to get them out of trouble

Saka, Lamptey, Smith-Rowe, Mount, Rice off the top of my head.
Southgate will throw a hissy fit if Mount doesn't win it.

Who did we score that 1 goal against i forgot. Thought we hadn't score for ages

Wolves looked a lot sharper in the second and we dropped back a bit to counter it.
Would have liked to have seen Philogene-Bidace on instead of Barkley.

Not until July though, I thought they'd decided to shake things up mid-season again.
I'd happily see them just roll things back a decade or two and tell them to stop **** about trying to fix things.
If it had happened to Man Utd, it would have been an immediate change.

It does make sense as to why West Ham are doing so well,.
