  1. I didn’t think English clubs were allowed to offer contracts to players from other English clubs until four weeks before their contracts expire? Unless we’ve given them permission to offer him a contract?

I can't imagine he'd be cheaper. He's way, way better than Ward Prowse.

I’d have agreed a year ago. There’s chat that he’s fallen out with Rodgers though, and that’s he’s had enough of his behaviour. So he might be available for less now? He’s a local lad - not a Cov fan, and is good mates with Grealish.

  3. The issue with making everyone have IDs on Twitter, is that it would affect the anonymity of people in genuinely oppressive countries across the world. A point I didn’t think of until I heard Richard Osman say it recently on Fighting Falk.

I don’t know what the answer is. It’s shit. People are terrible, and now they can contact a celebrity from the safety of their own home and know that even for a second of that celebrity’s life, they were in their world.

  4. It’s clear we all admire Leicester’s recruitment. In the last three seasons, apart from Ayoze Perez and Danny Ward, all of their signings have been from English lower leagues or abroad.

We don’t need to sign proven Premier League players to evolve, in fact it would be more beneficial to avoid the Premier League market, and get better value for money in Europe.

Fofana, Tielemans - Ligue 1. Castagne - Serie A. Ricardo Pereira - Liga NOS. Soyoncu - Bundesliga. Maddison, Justin, Evans - English lower leagues.

  5. Once again it seems like hats off to Leicester for their recruitment. I’ve never seen Soumare, but he seems highly rated. They’ve probably got him lined up for if Ndidi gets poached from a bigger club. Fair play to them.

As for Kerr Smith, I’ve a mate who’s a Dundee United fan, so I’ve asked him what he knows about him. He’s made 3 league appearances recently, which at 16 is some going!

I think fair play on the FA once, it seemed a deliberate act by their board to get them relegated so they can not pay them. FA have basically stuck two fingers up at their owners by punishing them but not the players

I may have completely missed this, but their board insisted a suspended player played, to ensure they got relegated?

6 months of awful performances? He was good pre injury, out injured between November and February. Then poor from Feb to April. I’m not his biggest fan but let’s not rewrite history.

November to May is six months in my book.

  8. Absolutely love this guy. One of my favourite goals for a long time, don't think any other striker in this league scores that. Can't wait to see him live and give him the love he deserves. And on top of that, a humble, eloquent and beautiful man to boot. What a guy.

I think the trez injury is exactly why we'll have to keep him.  Unless we do get a very good offer that let's us bring in someone a few years younger with more potential for the same money we sell him for.

We needed a big signing on the wing, forcing us to make two by selling one of the two we have fit is a risky strategy.

He's still a bit of an enigma to me, but his best form came on the left wing when Jack was in the middle. If we have to play that lineup next season at any point,  I won't be against it. It goes to s%$t when anyone other than Grealish is in the middle though.

Interesting point. I see it as though we’d only want to have four wingers at the club (excluding youngsters), including injured players, as that seems to be Smith’s philosophy. He doesn’t want to stockpile players, so if he wants to bring in a new winger this summer (which he must), then one of them would have to be moved on.

  10. He’s given us some great moments, but I personally would be looking to moving him on this summer, especially as his stock may potentially never be higher, so we may get a good price for him. We’ve also no chance of selling Trezeguet with the injury, and Traore only joined last year, so El Ghazi is the obvious one to move on.

He should be remembered as someone who gave us great moments though, even though he’s had some very frustrating periods.
