First I have heard of that, I thought it was the head injury
Yes when/where was that mentioned?
It's very possible I missed something but first I've heard of it

Barkley deemed very close again and still not in the squad. Strange one that.
And still no word on the nature of Trezeguet's injury? A cut on the forehead does not rule you out of two football matches, I smell Covid there.
New manager bounce is gonna do for us here. 2-1 to the Tesco bags I reckon.

Carlton Palmer of all people has cast doubt on the valuations of our Jack that are doing the rounds, and has said that he wouldn't spend "50-60m" on him as things stand.
Which is actually quite reasonable when you think about it, as Carlton Palmer hasn't got £50-60m.

To be fair, not much else he could do.......the players just didnt score, we got the chances and plenty of them. We didnt really look like conceding, not sure what else you expect from him. He had a little smile with Tarkowski and you do him for that, without any context or anything of what was said.......that's poor form from you!
Nah I'm not having that at all.
I'm absolutely livid at that result and so should the manager be.
Jack Grealish has walked off the pitch arguing with himself, the only words I could make out were "**** crap!"
And he was right - it was **** crap. Gaffer should feel the same, but he's just told Prime Video that he's disappointed but the clean sheet was really important.
Not good enough. It's 2 points dropped.

17 'Good' ratings for the ref? I'll have what you're smoking lads.
Didn't book Mee, let them time waste, gave only 2 mins added time, then let Burnley use 90 seconds of that to make a sub, and add barely nothing on.
I don't understand this either. What the **** are people seeing out there?

Dean Smith on camera laughing with James Tarkowski on the sideline after watching his players stuff up 27 attempts at goal.
Not **** good enough and not what I want to see from him.
Shit result.

A yellow **** card???

Surprise surprise Ben Mee is a **** scumbug twunt, who knew? Oh, everyone except Burnley fans and referees?

We are so slow to react to the second ball. Every game.

To be honest he'll have a bigger influence on the game than Watkins. Been anonymous imo. If Wes had a game like this he'd be crucified
Agree with that.

We need to be very **** careful now for the last 10 mins or they'll steal this. They will, like, you can almost smell it.

If I was Watkins I'd be **** fuming after this tonight
I like Ollie but he's no real right to be in this instance? It doesn't look as if he's even showing for the ball most of the time.
-
Didn't one of the Villa players last season say that he was the best finisher on the training ground?
You'd never know.
-
I am now slightly overweight and haven't kicked a ball in anger in over a year, but pretty confident I'd have put one of El Ghazi's chances away by now.
Unless we smell a pen coming then get him off and get Davis on, push Watkins out wide.
-
Sorry but this is not good enough from everyone else.
As per **** usual we are relying on Jack Grealish to do everything.
No matter who we buy, how much money we spend, it all comes back upon his shoulders.
Ridiculous.

**** sake Anwar.

Anyway to turn off Clive Tyldsley?
Ideally permanently.
Are you just working your way through the list? Karen Cairney, now Clive Tyldsley. Go on, give us your opinion on Scholes and Roberto Martinez, they're up next

a victim of modern football, possession based with one up top and patient build up. not too much to worry about for me, it’s a common theme for any team that play’s similarly.
I don't disagree with you but there are still other ways to play. Modern possession based football clearly isn't doing much for us if we finish 0-0 or worse against a turgid Burnley side.

So unlucky not to be in the lead at half time.
Can Nakamba do anything which is not just fouling a player unnecessarily?
Harsh - Nakamba has had one of his better games, and not just that, he's looked good to me. (cursed him now)

Watkins struggling today.
How many times have we seen this now. Can't help but feel Smith isn't using him right. He's extremely isolated.

He can't pass a simple ball. He's an awful footballer.
Fortunately you don't need to be good at football against Burnley
Famous last words...

He's either fit or he isn't. Not sure what you're getting at here!
But exactly: if he's clearly not fit by Thursday, how has he been deemed a 'maybe' on Wednesday? That just doesn't make sense to me, unless he's done himself additional harm.
There were no images of him training at all this week so why tell people he might play? Surely Dean knew that he wouldn't.
