ANOTHER slow start. My count that's 6 in a row now.
So agonizingly slow.

Wonder what minute our disallowed goal will be?

Has anyone on VillaTalk met Duran? Does anyone actually know anything about his attitude? Ever notice how it’s only black players who seem to have bad attitudes and are hard to manage?
Gavin McCann, Ross McCormack, Jack Grealish, Jordan Veretout - all been called hard to manage at some point during their Villa tenures.

Fab did also claim we signed Harrison on loan. Any other sources?
Percy, Ornstein, Sky, BBC, your mum, Maggie Thatchers corpse.

I’d be open to a swap deal… the return of villalad for striker…
We have no concrete evidence that they're not the same person.
Although I can't remember any references from Villalad to the corpses of ex Prime Ministers now I think about it...

I meant to the next target >_>
Ahh, my bad.
Can't see us signing another though can you?

Confirmed out by Emery.
FFS what's the injury? No prognosis or rough return offered.
You've got to ask the question as to why he's injured now when we could have made sure he was injured when we were flying earlier in the season. Would have made much more sense.

Not one current Man U player would improve the Villa team. I’d rather have sex with Maggie Thatcher and she’s dead.

Has Unai said we are actually interested? Feels like a lot of this is coming from the Boro camp
Every single Tier 1 journalist has documented it, even down to when each bid has gone in. We are definitely interested.

Depending on who you ask, Middlesbrough fans only feel he's come good in the last 2 months.
Are we that short-term that we decide to pay £13.5m more than we could have 6 months ago based on a handful of good performances?
You can't have it every which way, and either way you want to look at it, it's a pretty bad way to do business.
You're the only one looking at it the way you're looking at it mate, I can assure you.

If you or @Steero113 have indeed been indulging me and playing along to the joke of the two Arsenal fans arguing over a players age all those years ago, I salute you.
If you haven’t, google it. It’s tremendous.
I certainly have, and I'm proud of you.

But, £1.75 isn't £1 is it? He's closer to 28 than he is 27. That's a fact.
By closer to 28 you must mean that he is, indeed 27.

Whole situation really does raise the question of why we didn't just buy him 7 months ago for £1.5m when he went to Boro.
Seems odd.
What if I'd tried to train as a stuntman after all? What if I'd swam in that lake in Malawi that ended up giving my mate a tapeworm? What if I'd smashed that bird at uni who turned out to be an actress on TV.
What if...
Seriously though, he's gotten better.

He’s 27 years old.

He's 28, and doesn't have champions league experience. 100m is too much. 70 - 80, maybe some performance related adds.
He's 27

I don’t know if anyone has bid for Jacob, but all this leads me to thinking the North Stand was cancelled because we don’t have the money. Makes sense with Heck coming in and saying his one job is to make money.
The stadium redevelopment doesn't fall under FFP restrictions. Our owners have a combined net worth of over $13bn - I don't think money is the issue with that one.
Heck says we need more money because we need to make more money... for FFP and the scope to spend more on the squad.

I don't think he gets into our starting XI if everyone is fit. Is that a key player?
Fully fit he casually strolls into our best XI, are you mad?
Who are you putting in over him on the left?

Just now, Stevo985 said:I'd also argue that Jacob Ramsey being a "key player" is up for debate
2022-23 Ramsey was arguably our most important player.
He had an enormous impact on some of our very best results last season. 3-1 Utd (first home win since Boudica's uprising). 3-0 Newcastle (f**k you Howe). 2-1 Brighton (for Europe). Massive impact and absolutely crucial.
He will return to that level once injury is fully shaken off. People have their short-termism goggles on again. He's vital.

so much melodrama surrounding the situation, i haven’t read anything abusive or “despicable” leveled against jhon on this forum.
as far as twitter goes despicable is par for the course, it’s where people go to abuse each other, not much point in handwringing about it.
Pretty much sums up what's wrong with modern society this.

Second half was the best we've been for a while. Encouragement there.
Zaniolo looked good when he came on tbf.
