Unai said he has a "small pain" and is poorly on Sky just now.

bit concerning, no?
JJ, rushed back once already, has it happened again?
Pau, comes on against Burnley, prolonged injury.
God help Buendia and Mings.
Not really no.
Torres has been back training all week. He's clearly just not ready to make the squad yet, no mention of a further setback from Unai just now on Sky.
Ramsey has a small knock and is ill anyway.
Don't see how this has anything to do with two ACL injuries.

Has to be one of the nicest people in football. Always respectful, doesn't badger or criticise refs, doesn't moan about stuff if we don't win. Demands more from everyone, understands how important the fans are. He's humble and very very knowledgeable.
It will be a great day when we win something with Unai at the helm
He is the absolute opposite of Mikel Arteta.

If I’m buying some kid for 20m then he had better be of a higher profile than this lad
He's arguably the highest profile u-18 in Europe.

That's interesting, I've just watched that snippet and where Monchi goes to shake hands I am unable to see all the blood on them that I have been assured they are covered in?

Think Zaniolo has a lot of the required qualities to his game, you could actually argue that he would make a better striker than winger. Strong, direct, cracking shot, strong on both feet, good in the air, makes surprisingly good runs.

Whatever makes you happy
If you're happy with the donc, then fine, but do you really think we'll be getting rodri or de bruyne to pop down to B6 to sit on the bench as backup to Kamara ?
For a short 6 month DM backup till the end of the season, tell me another recent premier league winner and England International that'll come and do that job for us ?
Normally I might have the same view of Henderson as you, but in this particular case , a short term backup, we could do much, much worse.
We have a particular problem when Kamara is out, and we have seen The Donc doesnt quite cut it.
Henderson is knackered. As another poster put it, the fact that the scumbag in charge of our national side still picks him is a disgrace.

He was given game time yesterday and completely flunked it. Looked disinterested from the start until we hauled him off, at least 15 minutes too late.
Completely refute the disinterested part. He worked hard, even dropping into midfield on multiple occasions due to the woeful lack of service he was getting. When Watkins came on he literally didn't touch the ball for almost 10 mins.
Was impressed with some of his runs which were totally missed by our players. His biggest problem yesterday was no Tielemans, Luiz or Pau, imo the only players we have (aside from the injured Buendia) who can pick a tough pass out.
For the first 50 mins he was the only Villa player to actually work the goalkeeper. Twice with two nice snap shots, one of which could have easily gone in.

He wasn't pressing yesterday, which was why McGinn had a go at him and told the bench to bring him off
Not a chance in hell that McGinn told the bench to bring him off

He been making the wrong runs, a lot of the time. Not coming short enough. Shooting when he should be passing or crossing. The point of a guy his size and strength is that the ball sticks, but Watkins holds it up way better than he does.
Watkins currently hasn’t touched the ball in 16 mins

The miss hit, the stupid one from outside the box at a ridiculous angle. 3 shots wow we whoop de do!
Two of them were proper efforts that required good stops.
not sure you’ve noticed but we’ve provided him with absolutely nothing all game either.

Ok mate.
Your mad for questioning "the ambition" of an incredibly well run football club who are currently sitting 2nd in the best league in the world. A club who have got there by signing a wide mixture of players between 17 and 33 utilising the skills of a world class scouting and professional network.
Thats a mad comment, yes.

Makes me wonder if we’ve either lost our ambition We're 2nd in the league and the window is less than 100 hours old.
not players like Anderson who’s already been poor in the league and going to be receiving his pension soon He's 30, not 60. Still has 3 to 4 years left at the very top.
Hopefully people will regain their sanity soon I'm sat here hoping that you'll regain your sanity soon as well.

And that's without naming another CB either, so very likely moving on as he was in the training vid on Friday.
