I've seen a lot of fans of other clubs expressing disbelief that Grealish wasn't starting today. Only exceptions will be small heath, Wolves, West Brom, and for some reason Leeds fans.

There is many more that didn’t batter an eye lid that he didn’t start. Especially after the result.

there is no issue that he didn’t start today. He will get a start in the next two

I think Grealish is comfortably better than Mount and Foden, it's okay to say that without being accused of being biased and it doesn't mean to say that one thinks Foden and Mount are bad players, just that Grealish is the better player, maybe Foden being so young can become even better, but that's not guaranteed as it doesn't always work out that just because a player is exceptional at young age that they just keep getting better and better, I hope he does keep improving good luck to him, but for now Grealish is the better player.

Take Grealish out of our team and replace him with any of Mount or Foden and they would have no where near the same impact, we go from relegation form side, to team capable of competing for Europe with Grealish in the side, and by the same token both Man City and Chelsea would improve if they replaced Foden and Mount with Grealish.

    the dude your opinion GIF

and it’s wrong and full of Villa fan biased

Grealish is a better player than Foden, Mount, Sterling, Rashford and Sancho. Sancho was really poor in the last friendly that's probably why he didn't get in the 23 man squad, Grealish has arguably been England's best player in the games he's played.

Weird thing about Grealish is that I think even a lot of Villa still underrate or don't realize how good he is, you're allowed to think that he should be starting ahead of certain England players, that doesn't mean that you think those players are bad, or that you're biased just because Grealish is a Villa player.

Jack, Mount, Foden are equally amazing. They offer different things to a team. Sterling and Rashford are wide forwards and give a team like England a lot more pace and goal threats, which the other 3 are not quite as known for.

in this current England squad there is no shame in being left out of a particular game.

How is saying that Grealish should be starting biased, he's objectively one of the best players in the world and would improve any team in the world, there's a reason why he's constantly linked to the likes of Man Utd and Man City for record fees, it's not like people are complaining that some average player hasn't been used, with perhaps the exception of Kane, he's England's best player, and it's not just Vila fans that are staggered that he wasn't used either.

Dude, can you use the quote tab please.

jordon Sancho is a generational talent. He also didn’t get a start, let alone a bench seat.

as I said, England has the best squad depth they had in years. And Jack didn’t get a start because Mount, Foden and Sterling started. 3 other world class players. The weakest one on current form scored the winning goal and the official motm. He was fantastic, great pick from Southgate.

Jack will get his chance and he will get his chance to show his worth.

I have no doubt whatsoever, that if Grealish was a Man City or Man Utd player, he'd be starting for England. I think anyone who thinks otherwise is deluding themselves.

Funny you say this as you’re ranting from an extremely biased stand point.

yes Jack is great, so are the players that started today. They also played well today. England got the result they needed. So no loss

Jack will get his chance this tournament, so will Luke Shaw, Ben Chillwill, Reece James and Jordan Sancho.

This England squad has some fantastic depth. Probably the best there’s been in years. So, as deep as England get in the tournament they will not be relying on the same tired legs to get them through tougher matches.

Jack has to be the most begged for player by fans of other clubs in history. Never seen anything like it. That goes for the rags too. They all are either that ignorant to actually take a closer look into whats been going on at Villa, or they do know, and just hate seeing us making all the right moves and want to derail it. It’s infuriating

Outside of the “big six” the media know F all about any other club. When it comes to Villa and Jack, the only things they know is Jack, Ty and Ollie play for us, Jack gets fouled a lot, he has short socks and massive calf’s.

I remember last summer,  a lot of pundits were trying to claim Jack was a childhood manure supporter, just for a lazy transfer link

Please don't put words into my mouth.

There are different ways we can show support to black people that would get everyone on side. Surely that's a better alternative?

Why should anyone show their support in any other way? Why should any minority support have to change what they do, just because some racists and bigots are unhappy about it?

    it’s pathetic

I do actually agree with the 2 incidents he is bringing up here.

Particularly in that 3 vs 2 situation where he should have slid the ball to Barkley.

But in no way is he holding us back. Not a chance, that is laughable. It was just a game where he made the wrong call in 2 situations. But he also did a lot of great stuff in that game.

I somewhat agree with all of the points. Even holding back villa, In particular last season. The team do over rely on jacks magic. However he does takes too much on himself and several times he over touched the ball and runs in to cul de sacs.

if we flip it and it’s jack that relies on the rest of the team, it would benefit both him and the team.

tbf, it’s happening this season. Ginny is fully fit and in form, Ross is in the team and ollie’s movement is looking good so far. Once they are all on the same wavelength, the jack doing it all himself will become less of of a need and more of an option.

Personally I don't think there is any discussion to be had about him being world class anymore. Is he in the top 10 players currently in the Prem, Yes! Are there more than 10 world class players in the prem, yes! End of discussion.

He hit world class gear status 12 months ago imo.

Name the other 9, and if they ain’t all mason mount then you need your eyes checking

But sometimes your assists stats are only as good as the players on the end of them. For example Ozil had the most assists in Europe when playing for Real Madrid because he had Ronaldo on the end of his passes.

Last season Jack was second in the league for chances created. He is heading in the right direction for eventual world class status.

You don’t need stats to know KDB is a world class players. He’s been that level of quality for years. but as you say, Jack is on his way to that status.

    “world-class” takes time to earn.

  12. So far he’s been good. Yet, in the games I’ve seen him, he’s been trying hard to keep up with the prem pace and using his full concentration to do it. it won’t be long before he’s doing what he’s doing now under autopilot and improving in other areas.
