Yeah i agree we are stepping back into that elite level after how many decades and its giving me goosebumps thinking about it, I believe he would start more often than not if he was part of those sides and we need to sell him the idea and vision that we are challenging for champions league football (i dare to say it) however we most likely fall short of that but top six aim wont be enough for him so we have to sell him the champions league idea.

El Ghazi i cant say a bad word about him however if we want to progress quickly he cant be involved heavily anymore but i still expect to see him feature here and there and as for Trezeguet its highly unlikely that we see him in the claret and blue ever again imo... scored some important goals for us but he’s nowhere near good enough. KD is certainly not good enough and should be shipped out. Bailey and a Yaya Toure type quality midfielder in the centre of the park would give us a significant push

I think we can nab him but we have to be swift and precise,there's no way we can be messing around with top quality players, it's in and out signed up. I know Lange's trying to save penny's but certain transfer require you to flex the cash I think and if Bailey is to come here then we just have to make him a statement signing.

In my opinion i think Villa or Lange should go get this lad and not pussyfoot around at all and show Bailey he's important to our plans.

I'd even sell Ghazi to get abit more funding up, sell Davis also and just say here you are have a nice day. If Bailey signs we won't see much of Ghazi at all I don't think apart from being a sub perhaps.

Would love this ... i was thinking from Leon Bailey’s perspective he will be looking at this situation like i see my friends like Sterling at Man City and Jadon Sancho just signing for Man United and he is a player imo in that bracket and as much as we are on the up in his eyes he might be thinking well i should be going to a Chelsea or Liverpool. Hopefully we show him we aren’t playing around this season and we are trying to become one of those teams very quickly.

Keinan Davis level is League One its as simple as that.Wesley’s level is bottom half of the Premier League  and Watkins is undoubtedly Top 6 Premier League Standard

Out of curiosity would we sign both leon bailey and Julian Alvarez or would it just be one or the other ? Intrigued to see what we would be planning.

What time has he had? He came in, in January, in what was a struggling team then picked up injuries and knocks and needed time to adjust and settle… 

He didn’t join us at the start of the season or have a preseason…

Yes id be very impressed if we sealed that deal huge step up in quality and it looks like we are not playing any games as a club and will aim for a top six finish.. Had one fan arguing telling me that a top 8 finish is the aim and that was set out by the club... I quickly disagreed and it appears alot of our own fans are not able to process how huge we are actually planning to rise as a club.

I can say with certainty its top six we are aiming for, Despite what many think is too high of an ambition but AVFC are moving with Serious intent and now most football fans are starting to recognise this and look at the club as a huge threat...Owners are extremely ambitious and trying to push the club amongst the Elite... NSWE mean serious business
