    I had some suggestions here:

Nico Paz (left footed) could be a low risk very high reward option. While Kroos has announced his retirement, it's still a fact that Paz hasn't played a single minute for Madrid's first team in the entire 2024.

Remains to be seen if he can secure Madrid's permission for the Olympic games. If he does and plays well, he might end up on the radar of many other teams.

Looking for a right footed wizard that plays on the left side of midfield more winger type, nico paz appears to play more central but ideally id want more experience someone thats almost ready made. How is ramsey more valued than bailey on transfmarket 🤔 im the same person that wanted bailey sold last summer so believe me if anyone thinks im bias can think again but that man has had one remarkable season pure magic throughout.

He sucked less than in Chelsea would perhaps be more accurate. He was still far away from his better Atletico seasons (and his breakout Benfica one). He couldn't even manage to get a starting spot in the PSG series against a 16-year old and over the hill veterans like Lewandowski and Gundogan.

He's another case of talent gone to waste because of a total lack of drive. Atletico couldn't make him work, and they keep shipping him despite having paid €126 million! (apparently he's the 4th most expensive player ever, yikes). Chelsea couldn't make him work, Barcelona couldn't make him work. You guys don't want to be the next sucker in line.

And even if somehow you could manage a cheap loan with no option, his wages would surely be astronomical.

Id probably have to agree with that, who would your alternate options be and im sure you understand why im not super confident rolling into the new season with the rogers/ramsey option

I was thinking today, Buendia could possibly be allowed to go on loan even.

To leave room for someone like Baena?

Then again, who would actually take him fresh off an ACL? Depends on how he looks preseason as well I guess.

Perhaps we’ll see what his plans are

  4. Douglas Luiz has been with us since we came up and has been a regular feature and part of our significant rise in the last 12 months especially why would firstly he want to move esp with champions league football on the horizon and then secondly the club will recognise that… JJ had a great 2nd half of the season in 22/23, since then had been plagued by injuries and has featured this season here and there but did not look like the ramsey we knew, Buendia and mings have not featured and we also dont know how much Emery will really value them, was never a fan of Buendia that much tbh and always wanted him to kick on and he did improve alot. Rogers has shown quality moments but there is alot on his all round game which needs plenty work if he is to be relied upon in such a huge season.

  5. Joao Felix has had a pretty good season i say we try for him, would be major if we could lure him with his exceptional talent and Emery would get even more out of him, its players like that which give me hope when we are playing the big boys which ramsey/rogers wouldn’t and that is no disrespect to them but of course there are levels.

I'd also much rather sell Konsa. Think he's rather overrated. His lack of physicality makes him a question in the middle without Mings and whilst he's a good RB he's not a natural one. 60 mil for him and I'd sell.

    What ?????? blasphemy

Massively overrated, injury prone, and single-handedly got Barcelona out of the Champions. Would be a terrible investment.

If you must, Koundé or Christensen would be better options and much cheaper.

I’ll Take your word for it youve made fair assessments in the past

Gallagher is very good and Barkley would be a deep bench player.

We will still hopefully sign an extra B2B and DM on top of Barkley. Ultimately his role will be to be a 70tg minute sub and play in Cup competitions and vs weaker prem opposition.

Not a fan of gallagher, hes done ok this season though but does a lot of stuff i dont like

Does anyone not remember we actually had barkley here....is it only me?

He was kind of not good enough when he was younger and we had less aspirations.

Exactly this is whats rattling my head like im in shock with so seeing ppl say it may be a good signing

  10. This forum has gone down the drain with what ive seen the past 48 hours no disrespect btw but i see it time and time again after we have shown the levels and heights we are heading in, we need to move away from the average joe market we are in the big boy leagues.

    - Release Duran to Bring in Jackson 🤯

    - Sign Conor Gallagher because hes been the player of the season and would be a delight for champions league games 🤯

    - Ross Barkley did well for luton and could have got in the england squad so bring him back 🤯

These are not players we should be gambling on, if we are selling to bring in players we would need to ensure they are improving the squad, who the hell does conor gallagher play over ffs.

  11. As fun as it sounds and i would like to see us play at least one of the spanish giant teams real or barca it would mean of course the sacrifice of gaining points in order to excel just for the sake of the experience and buzz playing those teams.

It about how we decipher being one of the top 8 teams out of the 32 or 36 listed, this challenge wont be easy of course

I currently see us maybe being the 15th/16th strongest team out them all on paper at least anyways

Couldn't disagree with this more. Ramsey was exceptional last season and if he can get back to that form, coupled with Rogers as a rotation option, continually improving, we are absolutely fine in that position.

Whoever agrees with this simply lacks ambition

Gallagher is absolutely ideal signing, versatile CM can be CDM, AMC or play off RM/LM as one of the narrow 10s.

Unless its against us his decisiveness in the final third has made me realise he is not a high level player in all honesty

So your happy with ramsey to start against real madrid, majority of prem games and cup comp is one thing and you used the word ‘IF’ we dont have time for ifs we need players firing from the get go
