I am not sure I agree with that.....I get we was in dire straits, but 15 mill for Luiz and 14 Mill for Target......18 mill for the 2 wingers.

we have certainly played over the odds for what we see at present.

Luiz will come good. He is a 21 year old Brazilian making his way in the hardest league in the world. Targett has hardly played for two years.

Trezeguet yes looks poor but even he is bringing in millions of fans from Egypt so he has value to the club at least.

wesley is probably the only questionable signing from the summer imo of course.

It's not a lot of money at this level - not for where we've started from. If we stay up, we'll need to spend it again.

Totally agree with your statement sir. We have to now assume signings coming in will be to improve not bulk out the squad.

I wish the Danny Drunkwater rumours would go away!

I don’t think people realise how much damage binge drinking does to an elite athletes body. It’s a no to Danny Drinkwater for me.

I hope he sorts his life out ASAP though. I don’t like seeing guys literally peeing their lives down the drain.

Sounds like the doctor's orders. Wingers have to be the top priority.

If nothing else it will create competition for places and show our current wingers to be more pragmatic in their approach. Jed Wallace seems to have a quality in a player which I love - intelligence.

Wallace any good? Good goal and assist return so far I see.

From what ive seen and im not an authority on these things I think he will be a 7/10 player every game for us in the premier league. For me that’s good enough. He is quick not rapid but seems to have good touch and technical ability. Positioning seems to be good too.

thats fair enough but I thought he was shit in Portugal too, Was a game they built it as Hulk vs Ronaldo and was embarrassing. He was in Wes Brown or OShea pocket for the game he was so bad.

More disturbing if Google Hulk now he left his wife for his niece FFS in last 24 hours

It’s actually his ex wife’s niece. I agree an Awful footballer with a brutal shot and no ethics it seems. Loved him on FIFA though a bit like Adriano.

    He plays for Ipswich ;)

Very good player though i watched him live twice last season when he was at Swindon on-loan.

Yes you’re correct, I was thinking of a player from Luton too the quick left back Zimbabwean forgotten his name though. I think we should bring Bree back too as El-Mohamady shouldn’t play for us again as he just watched and stood for their first goal yesterday.

  8. I was very disappointed with Elmo for their first goal. He should have at least tried to get back in. I actually think that is unforgivable, from his initial pass to Konsa he didn’t move. Really really poor.

12 games later and no league goals or assists. Talk to us when he scores a goal.

And the counterpoint to my point is? I clearly said hopefully he will be replaced ASAP.

  10. Wolves’ owner is close to Mendes, they then ‘parked’ some of his premier league quality  ‘clients’ at Wolves whilst they were in the championship. They got the playing time together and then after promotion sprinkled a few experienced heads alongside the gems and have successfully managed to get good results in the top league and in Europe.

We have been run by pinky and perky recently. One of our previous managers left us on the eve of the season and we bought in a brilliant replacement but he had a health problem.
Our current regime have to sort out the mess of recent managers and owners who for various reasons messed up. Our previous manager loved right backs. We went on a miracle run and qualified for the big league.

Then we have had to buy in lots of players to plug gaps. We just need to survive.
