Ref seems happy to keep cards in his pockets. Let's see if he does the same when we commit a bad foul.

How has Carlos **** missed that

Luiz still on the beach it seems. / tired from having to play every game and out of position for so much of the season

The thing about the offside is they used the frame before the guy hit the ball. The next frame was after he'd connected with it. There wasn't an accurate frame to use. I get that in those scenarios you go with the on field call which was onside anyway, but shows the flaws in the system.

Great great play by ollie. Phenomena

Blatant foul on Diaby not given. Meh

Well that wasn't the start we needed.
Fans still in good voice at least, but the squad needs to give them something to cheer about soon.
Digne totally off his game for some reason.

Watkins and Bailey looking the picture of confidence when talking to each other before kick off. Like to see it.

Last?
We do play in 1st gear an awful lot. It’s the way we have dealt with the extra games. Catching up now as shown by the last 3 or so games.Last...

Sky actually doing a decent segment on us wtf
They are. Really interesting stats about our ranks for pressures and distance covered. Last in the league for both!

I have no idea either. Can you tell us pl.?
Tielemans got very teary when he was injured almost as if he thought his season was over and Euros would be out of his summer plans.

What was all that blubbing about, the big pussy.
I'm ashamed to say I've got no idea what you're talking about .
Edit: nm, I got it. Slow brain today

Emery is so lovely. He's such a genuinely nice bloke. What a man.
Just said exactly what I did about Tielemans .."hopefully he can carry on where he left off". Cash felt discomfort yesterday apparently.

Only concern would be how slow Youri has looked on previous returns from injury. Hoping we get the fully fit Tielemans off the bat this time, would certainly help us.

didnt they say it will be closed after tonight's game, and wont be open again until all the refurbishment stuff is done?
I'd have expected a flash sale to get rid of the stock... but guess our favourite third party are on the way out and don't care

Think it's fair to assume that the murals painted on the warehouse are a temporary measure done just in time for the last game of the season and to coincide with an announcement of some sort.
Looked on like that, it's an impressively coordinated and well executed temporary display. If it hangs around for more than a year and becomes a permanent fixture it's less impressive and begs question about the lack of cleaning of the bricks.

We'll be raising the concerns and interest that have been raised on stadium development, ticket prices and any changes in zoning that come about as a result, as well as ongoing concerns around the branding project and communication.
If there's anything you'd like asked, please add it in this thread and we'll do our best to get it onto the agenda.
Please be as specific as possible on your question, it's really helpful in getting the club to answer them in the way you'd like.
Sounds like you will anyway, but please ask them to explain the thought process behind why yellow on light blue was brought back. That colour match up was a huge reason why we moved away from the Lerner era badge in the first place.
It's not been a villa colour combination for most of our history or any of our successful periods.
Yellow on light blue is such a jarring colour scheme that isn't visible from any distance. What we do with that colour scheme won't scale well (drop shadow or not).

Wasn't the new stand meant to house a new shop or am I wrong? New shop outside the stand further suggests we are a long time away from any big development.
New shop originally in Villa Live, then when that got canned it was going to be in the stand. Then they said, well revamp existing shop and make it bigger by removing the ticket office we have in the same building.

Do you think he’ll get any minutes at all this season, or even be named in a match squad either at home tonight or away to Palace?
Is he even registered? I guess he would have been at the start of the season, but would we have kept him on it in Jan?

Yeah only because we know it is, the claret and blue, the new adidas deal and the absurd yellow. All the elements make it unique not the shield.
I’m just hoping they get the badge right because a big marketing scheme needs the product (badge) to deliver at the end.
But the point is that over time that shield and double border becomes synonymous with us, and frees us up to use other colour variations in collaborations with other partners, and everyone will still know its Villa.
I dislike Heck, and am not a fan of a lot of what he's done (especially his communication) but establishing this as a new brand that becomes immediately identifiable as a Villa themed product is not bad.
Light yellow on blue I don't understand, but the shape and the brand reveal across media, print and physical villa property is a well organised and positive thing for me.

Diaby just doesn't have it at the moment. Never picking the right pass :(. Bring back Diaby from the start of the season.
