It's just fine. The amount of people overly emotional & pompous about a drop shadow is absolutely comical though. Seriously if your getting that upset & wound up over a shadow on a badge. I think you should speak to someone.
I'm more upset about the yellow lion than the shadow. Most clubs badges are their primary colours. Our badge makes it look like we play in blue and yellow. It could be solved so easily with a claret lion.

Sorry to disappoint my VT friends and my own usual design and creativity instinct.
But the " drop shadow " on crest actually does what it's meant to... And I think the kits will look bloody good
Really like how it looks there.
I'm no fan of the new badge but am still fully expecting the new kits to be great. Definitely better than this season's anyway; they were the only shirts I haven't bought in my lifetime following Villa.

It actually hurts my eyes the more I look at it.

Shocking badge. Really, really poor. We literally may as well have just kept the Lerner badge.

He's just way too unpredictable , which is good when it's on the pitch controlled, but seems he's just like that in general.
I'd be loathe to lose him to the likes of Chelsea though.
Yeah, I agree it would be a shame to lose him for his potential but I also think he has the potential to upset the apple cart with his unpredictability too. If his head isn't fully in it, he should be sold too. Same goes for everyone else. If you're not 100 bought into it then it's not going to work.

I'm not sure he is the kind of character Emery likes, to be honest. Got a lot of potential but if we get a good offer, I'd much rather sell him than Ramsey.

At the risk of sounding like a party pooper, we played City without Rodri. It's been proven that he makes a massive difference so worth not getting too ahead of ourselves
We still put in a performance that has literally never been done by any team against a Guardiola team ever. It was statistically a generational performance. Ridiculous to play down that achievement.

I personally think Crazy Train works really well.

what row and block are you?
P3, not sure what row but maybe about 10/12 from the very front of the top tier.

Out of complete paranoia and fear because of where I sit - the whole central section?
If 900 ST holders are being moved, and we assume a season ticket holder rate of 33% per area of the ground, it could be 3000 new corporate seats as previously mentioned by Heck.
Ah I guess that makes sense. I'm about 5 rows above the small middle section at the front of the upper tier so maybe might just miss it.

Any guesses/rumours what areas of the Doug Ellis stand will be relocated?

Any chance of Manure catching us though?

I hope in a few hours time Monchi is ripping up the Lidl list and taking out the Waitrose list of targets.
Nah, Lidl beats Waitrose every day!

Sorry I was implying to have Emery as coach.
Haha sorry, my mistake. Indeed we are!

Just leave this here to remind us just how farking lucky we are
We could have scored about 8 goals by this point tbf. We deserved that slice of luck.

CL qualification will mean there will be little to worry about concerning FFP.
In addition there will be several outs with wages off the books such as the loan signings.
I also think Luiz could be sacrificed if needed to bring in better but I’d expect a very busy summer at the Villa if CL is achieved.
If we have to sacrifice either Martinez, Luiz or Watkins then for me it is a no brainer that is has to be Luiz. He's the most replaceable of the three.

There are 2 questions.
1) do we need to make a sale before end of June to stay within PSR, the answer is no our on field performance has boosted prize money by about £20-25m vs last season.
2) Will we need a sale this summer, I think we don't need to but we will want to. If we can sell a couple of first team players along with the other players we want to move on anyway. Then we will give ourselves the headroom to make signings
When you say "sell a couple of first team players", are we talking £20m-ish for the likes of Cash/Carlos etc or £100m-ish for the likes of Martinez/Luiz etc?
Are we basically in a position that if we want to spend say £80m+ on two new players, we need to first bring in £80m+ or could we feasibly be okay to do that by selling a couple of £20m players?
-
Does anyone know realistically where we are with FFP this summer? Will we have to make a big sale or not?

Shows how good he is that it has taken 37 games for him to make a meaningful mistake.

This for me entirely. I hate Arsenal for the way they treated Emery and their fans for the sneering contempt they showed him. It would be a real pleasure to see them miss out on the premier league because of the 6 points we took off them.
Arse have the most unbearable fans out there. Man City are just a boring, nothing, oil money club with nothing about them. You barely even notice them.

One of my favourite Villa Park atmospheres - particularly the second half
The only game of that season I couldn't get to. But I could feel the atmosphere watching on my laptop in my hotel room. Goosebumps.

Give me a claret lion on the badge and I'll be okay with it. Our colours are not yellow and blue.
