We've played 25 games this season and amassed 35 points. Westwood has started 17games, from which we've gained 15 points. 4 of those 15 points in the 6 games he started alongside Gardner. Compare that to the 20 points we've amassed from only 8 games when he didn't start. It might be a little unfair to lay all the blame at his door, but the figures don't lie. And given his unfortunate association with our demise over the past 3 - 4 years, it's clearly time for Aston Villa and Ashley Westwood to seek different paths.
