Think you should worry more about Lee Johnson ;) didn't you want him out last season or was it the season before :D

I never did, almost said enough was enough the season before last, then we beat Huddersfield 4-0 and got a draw at Norwich who were both doing well.

Some of our fans very quick to turn on him though, same as any club.

I wish I had been. Who’s idea was stoptober!

    WILDER IN!!!

I did Stoptober a few years ago. Went out with a mate on Halloween, he was driving, so we were doing he'd drink until midnight, but because I was doing stoptober I couldnt drink until after midnight.

We went up to the bar close to midnight so my mate could get one last drink, I forgot about stoptober, had a drink and checked my phone- I failed it by 10 minutes.

It's not a game of told you so but seriously, the low expectation levels of some of our fans you'd think we where Torquay Utd.

You have 4 ex Bristol City players.

Torquay have 4 Bristol City youths on loan.

    Basically the same ?

Can you imagine if a group of managers decided to have a laugh and all turn up just to troll us, would be brilliant to be fair. As they know how dramatic we are.

    McCleish

    Sherwood

    MON

    Garde

    Allardyce

    Nigel Pearson

    Paul Jewell

    Mick McCarthy

Sitting in different stand suited up and waving at cameras...lol

How many stands have you got?!

No board would sack a manager immediately after coming back from a goal down to get an away point against decent opposition.

It normally follows a series of defeats - although I think one might even do it in this case.

But what about after a draw at little ol' Bristol City?

Fairly sure he admitted last season that he balls'd up not rotating the squad enough when we lost to QPR and Bolton (I think it was) in a week.

I'm not defending him for the sake of defending him but you say you'd love to hear it from Bruce so there you go........

I think it's something all managers are guilty of not doing often enough.

Lee Johnson is no different, although he made a blanket statement "on being responsible for any goals we concede from trying to play the ball out of defense, as it's the way he is asking the team to play" or words to that effect.

I'm sure, or I'd hope, words would be had with players in private if they were the one caught on the ball on decision making- while I like playing out from the back, there have to be times where you need to get the ball away quicker.

  7. We have been having a 20-30 minute spell in recent games where we defend like a school side, so I expect you'll get a goal.

    1-1.

Bolasie goes on a mazy run, over hits his cross, Adomah picks it up and finds Kodjia, his shot hits Abrahams heel and goes in.

    Baker finds Weimann who scores.

I took it more as El ghazi realising that this league is tougher than then French league.

Something which I mentioned before and got shot down.

    Theres probably truth in that.

We had a RB signed from Italy last summer.

After a few games last season there was a point where he was sat in the dressing room saying "it's so fast" again and again under his breath.

I guess they don't sell out often.

We've sold out about 3-4 times since the redevelopment was finished, but it had been known it would be a sell out days in advance.

The area around Ashton Gate is also generally very conjested on Fridays as standard, so 25k odd extra people isnt going to help things- the other sell outs were midweek games in the cup last season, Birmingham on a Sunday and one on a Saturday
