I think we will hold onto all 3 without any problem.
In the summer window I feel we need 6 players atleast based on our current team...
1 x LB, 1 x RB, 1 x CB, 1 x MC, 1 x AML, 1 x ST.
I wouldnt disagree , but think we will go for quality in 3/4 areas as opposed to spreading the cash over so many positions

I think our window will be two parts. Holding onto Grealish, Emi and Konsa.
Signing centre mid powerhouse, and 2 wingers.

Look at the subs made in the other games yesterday, ours are so week, with the exception of Sheff Utd, they were easily the worse.
I dont think Smith is untouchable or immune from criticism, but critise him for his faults.
Our first choice back 5 is excellent, but no back up. Our 2 back up full backs will both leave in the Summer.
Our midfield is hideously imbalanced but looked better until Sanson went off. But whether you're in the luiz or mcginn camp, both have had poor seasons.
Attacking we have Watkins.Thats it.
Dont get me wrong, it confuses me why we play with wingers, when the wingers we have are poor, and the late subs, but realistically would you make subs when you have a bench like ours?
Season 1 - took over a midtable team to prepare for next season - got us promoted.
Season 2 - had to sign a squad - totally readjusted during lockdown and we stayed up.
Season 3 - some amazing results, some disappointing ones, but weve sued up with a third of the season to go. Two players in the England squad, another 2 to follow. Massive praise for our style .
I'm sorry I cant go too overboard at the poor run we are in at the moment.

This is spot on. Our best wide player has been Watkins when he moves out there. I wonder if Dean is thinking of bringing
in a CF ie Tammy or Edouard or similar and playing Ollie wider
If we bought 2 quality wingers, move on trez, and have a fit wes.jack could play no 10

One man team.
Anybody disagree?
Yes.martinez konsa, mings watkins walk into most premier league teams.
Grealish is champions league class he elevates us, he isnt us.

If he was called Douglas Lewis he wouldn't get a game. What dies he actually do. Hes the emperors new clothes.

Elmo
Luiz
Ramsey
Davis
Barkeley
Half the outfield players at the end aren't good enough (Ramsey -yet)
The squads the issue, not the coach or tactics.
-
Think it's been a good performance, think mcginn has been excellent

To many players in the starting 11 tonight, have 1 good game in 5. El Ghazi, Traroe, Ramsey, Nakamba -throw in a duff performance from both full backs, and you can see we are up against up.
This is spot on . The thing about top players is the consistency. Weve the players below that.
Emi, konsa, mings, jack, ollie - are on their game 8 or 9 /10 games. The rest tonight are too inconsistent.
We didnt play awfully, just lacked the quality.

Fill backs really hinder us. Targett is awful going forward without jack. What we needed was overload, when we did we created half chances.
Crossing was atrocious.

Der, the char lady doesn't pick the team and tactics!
You do seem to only post when we lose.
Do you not blame the players even a little bit? Unless a bad performance by a player is always the managers fault?
-
Sloppy performance, front 3 ok.
Midfield too spread out.
Defence hoofing it.
Whenever we pass we create.

Clearly Smith didn't watch them against Liverpool at the weekend and see how easy it is to dominate them.
Must be Smith's fault.

Sounds like last summer, did it then will do it again this summer. I don't think investment will be an issue.
I agree but its easier upgrading a 5 to an 7 than a 7/8 to a 9

Ramsey saw off conor, he may well see off barkeley. As a team we have to have youth players pushing. If ramsey and Kessler/ Hayden get games. It shows barry, chuk, and PB that it's worth staying.

It's so nice not worrying whenever a ball is crossed.
We've been blessed with some great keepers. Emi is up there with the best of them.
-
Best performance for ages.

Thought Bielsa was great. Even in defeat Leeds were like watching the Dutch in the 70s.
Oh, Villa played as well.
Quite like Leeds, hate the obsession of the commentators
-
We should start a pre match poll on the team selection. Weve 6 midfielders, everyone wants barkeley dropped, he is.
We have to use 3 out of 5. Apparently everyone is ok with ramsey and nakamba, now smith is a muppet for preferring McGinn over luiz.
Aaarrrggghhhh!!!!

I think this is where transfer windows become difficult. We are no longer replacing rubbish. We are trying to upgrade all over.
Wingers
Cdm
Additional striker
Additional centre half.
It wont be cheap.

It's never been Smith's strategy to bawl out players in public. I genuinely don't understand why people are surprised that he is defending Barkley.
This idea that hes stubborn etc is weird. We saw last year with our summer 2019 signings, it takes time to bed in.
Does anyone genuinely believe that hes going to start ramsey, (1 start), Samson (no starts) and nakamba (1 good game), against Leeds.
Tge problem is the lack of a genuine quality DM. We dont have 1.
I would rest Barkeley for Sanson, but having said that I'd play 442 today!!!

Randomly decided to Google Alan Smith the other day for some reason.
Of all the people and things to google, why would you choose Alan Smith?

It's the same all over.
Do you remember the thousands of players we signed looking for a goal scoring midfielder to replace Platt?
curcic Delph Draper etc.
I think there may have been a problem with our recruitment
