Delighted with the 3 points but i rate Smith a negative 50 out of 10 after that.
Prime Bruce shithousery. These players will be dead on their feet in April. Is he planning on working them to death?
Aah go on then, I'll bite.
_50 /10 - I think you may be exaggerating slightly, especially after a win.
Prime Bruce - smith has taken us from midtable to promotion to survival to edge of Europe - comparison to Bruce is no longer relevant.
Players will be dead on their feet. - they've just had 3 weeks off.
Seriously - I think you make some insightful points, but this is just, well...........

Great result.
One of our worst performances this season
Disappointed at Smith's use / non use of subs.

There were stretches of the game where we had less than 30% possession for 5 minutes.
That's a stat and a half.
300 seconds, we had possession for 90 seconds, they had 210 seconds. That's about the amount of time to take a goal kick!

And give away too many soft goals and take less chances than our opponents. Exactly
Most goals are soft in some way. I can think of an awful lot if goals weve given away this season which have been top corner. Look at yesterday
Goal 1 soft
Goal 2 lucky
Goal 3 good goal.
We could both justify our position.
You could also view it that we create a lot of chances. Glass half empty / full.

Was going to suggest we need a striker, butthen I read the previous 3 pages!

It'd be a fluke if it didn't happen so often. I think in most games we have lost we have created more and better chances than the opposition.
Thats not a fluke, its a pattern.
I agree it's a pattern that we are quite good but a bit wasteful.

Don't really know what to say on that one. Needed subs earlier.
I agree, but you saw Davis when he came on !
I would have swapped trez and traore much earlier.
I thought Barkley was poor.

Not the greatest manager at VP, but was ahead of his time. Celtic fans hold him in higher regard.

He's not even worth that. We'll be lucky to get 500K for him given his contract is nearly up.
18 months left.

Very proud

Superb
Really like Mungo is he always a defender?
-
If we look back 24 months.
We were 15th in championship
If we look back 12 months we were 18th
I'm not proud that we are plucky losers. I am proud we are 6th and man Utd celebrate a victory against us as if it's a major event.

Sorry, but was that not handball at the end by Maguire?? Not even checked. Won't be mentioned.
Myself and my 2 boys, both screamed handball.
My wife was having prosecco and my nine year was waving a random flag.
Thought it was just us!

Soft penalty decides it, was always going to happen.
Villa played well, did us proud and created enough chances to take something from the game.
Careful now. You're in danger of a balanced view instead of the Vt doom or gloom!
I agree totally.

No chance. Mings is near post. If he'd got back quicker he would've had his feet set to attack the cross correctly instead of lunging awkwardly. Linda was behind martial.
And should have stepped towards him. Even if he is Linda.

Konsa more to blame than mings imo.

Agree with 3 and 4
Point 2 players arent going to come out and congratulate VAR. It's generally accepted it's a flawed system, but you'll rant at it when it goes against you that's not hypocrisy that's human nature. When I drop a jar of jam on my foot I swear at the jam jar, if I dont drop it, I dont swear at it.
Thought the repeated use of your is interesting when talking about our team
Hmmmmmmmm.
