Oh wow! Lol. I would’ve prefer a draw as I like both these two teams to be perpetually crap but hey, a United loss works too.

Beautiful

There are two threats to us not making the Champions league, underperformance by English teams in Europe and Manchester United - now that doesn't mean that United have got a massive chance of upsetting our applecart, but they are there and they will be a threat until they're not. I'm not sure PPG is a great indicator when you get down to small numbers of games and I don't think it's the best way to judge the gap, but the gap is there and it's a decent size, it's unlikely that United catch us, but we'd be foolish to ignore the possibility.
United still have Liverpool, Arsenal,, Newcastle and Brighton to play, I can see them losing all 4 of those games.

No ambition tonight. Big teams don’t go to a rival top 4 side and play a weakened team. Need to get these daft thoughts out of our head and show a bit. Typical Villa trait which occurs when we start getting dizzy and not believing in ourself. You want to play with the so called big boys then grow some bollocks. Very small time tonight.
I mean…. City did.

And they got to rest Haaling,

Don’t worry lads, Tottenham still have City to play yet.

Disagree. Just had international break, could have squeezed a draw here.
Never were we getting a draw here, not with our injury list.

Such a punchable face

Is there a player more irritating than Foden?

Yeah really impressed with our fringe players, the future is very bright.

Totally, he should just stand there and stick to Konsa. I was reacting to the idea he was a coward, that's bollocks, he tried to anticipate Foden bending it round the wall and tried to jump in the way, not get out of the way. He realised too late and tried to block it with his leg.
Can understand that point of view too. Wish he hadn’t but hey hum, can’t believe it’s only 2-1

If he had just stood still! Ffs

Soft goal

Credit where it’s due. I didn’t expect us to score today

Yeah I was going to watch but, now Martinez is also out, I don’t think it’s going to be a enjoyable watch

Speaks to how ridiculous their squad is that even with the absentees they'll likely be starting the likes of Foden, Rodri, Silva, Alvarez, Grealish, Dias, Gvardiol, Akanji, Kovacic...
Still though, better opportunity than it usually is at that rate.
That’s what ten plus years of cheating behind everyone else’s back will get you.

Well that’s depressing. (though what gives me hope is the crazy results you must’ve given Chelsea to get them to rank so high)
i was going to put, hypothetically if we somehow win tonight, which I don’t think we will but who knows, would the media include us back in the title race talk.

I literally just said that I think we will end up behind Spurs after this weeks games.
How is that poorly articulated? Please explain.

Big Chelsea win and utd mentally crumble fully, players looking to leave, manager knowing he’s out end of season - end of days stuff. Which is nice.
Hopefully end of days for both United and Chelsea

You ever wonder sometimes how some players ever make it to premier league level?
