The team needs to understand that playing backwards sideways football does not win matches.

Abel Hernandez for Gestede, huh?
Can he stand motionless while everyone else plays backward sideways football too?

It's a skill that takes years to perfect, I have it nailed though. As soon as I see Harry Redknapp I know he is going to get dogs abuse and a kick in the nuts unless someone stops me.
Me too. Whenever I see Tim Sherwood, I know an angel in heaven weeps, tears off its wings, and wipes its ass with them.

How about we all take it in turns expressing our views
Then come 1st October some of us can raise our hands and say I told you so
No, not some. As the immortal and highly esteemed poet Christopher Lambert said " There can be only one."

It was reported he spent 5 years at Havard and 6 months at Oxford, he's English is only a bit better than mine and I went to Mathew Boulton! Holes, big holes
Your English is ungood.

If you combine Gestede with Suarez, you get an extra from the walking dead.

Suppose we do have a squad of talent though? It is obvious when people think of that line they instantly envision their most hated players as if their aren't over 20 odd plus academy in the squad! As stated before, some of these players did not just magically become shite over night, patience ffs! Otherwise at the rate it is going on here I suggest some of you just get your badges and work on a management career as you are all smarter than seasoned managers
It is something that needs to be addressed before anything else. How many "promising" players have we signed that have turned out shite, and how many so called shite players have left Villa and gone on to shine at other clubs? Is there something in the water at Bodymoor? As evidenced for most of last season and the friendly at Middlesborough, we need to change our playing style to a style with the serious intention of winning games, other wise it doesn't make one jot who we sign. Signing good players without addressing the playing style would be like trying to fill a bucket without a bottom. Pointless, wasteful, and no chance of improvement.

If he builds the theme park, what could be an interesting addition would be Villa Talk: The Ride. The whining sound continues after the ride has stopped.

Hope Karanka is paid up on unemployment insurance. Guzan is a coach killer.

Paddy's league (head to head)320213-100410
No cup option at the moment but will add one if it becomes available.
I have just joined, and I really should have asked first before jumping the gun. Are these leagues open to all VT members? ( Even noobs?)

He has shown more passion in 6 weeks than Lescott and Richards have for a season combined.

Possibly- or you could say that Benteke in his first season scored a bucketful in a side at least on paper was worse than last season's "team".
My point is, we could improve our goal tally if we overhaul our style of play. Posession of the ball was diabolical. It starts from the back. When Guzan got his mitts on the ball, he would look around the pitch like he has inexplicably woken up in a tree, and by the time he has released, the other team has set their defence, killing off any chance of counter attack. In midfield, it was sideways and back passes, with any forward passes way too easily picked off, or passed straight to the opposition. The only other option is to give it to Hutton to try to cross it in to the one Villa striker in the box amongst 3 defenders and a goal keeper, hoping it somehow it boinks into his head, and the goalkeeper is in the middle of a dance break to be paying any attention.
No team will win playing like this, but that was Villa last season, and no striker will get to score too many goals playing like that.

Korma? I'm sure Tone would like that, but doesn't really fit in with the sentence you're saying.
Apologies. Trying to be punny.

He directed. The music is by Ennio Morricone and damn it's good ^^.
Also dead for 20 + years, but still shows more movement in the box than Gesdead.

I think it's interesting that he is following every player I would suggest has some interest from other clubs this window. Amavi and Ayew are obviously talked about, some of the others have had tenuous links to other clubs.
But I honestly think he just following a random group of the players, with no real reason to it
Maybe I'll ask him
Please do.
I single out Grealish because he has a history of being a tit on twitter.

In regards to the Twitter Tony/ Holloway flirting thing, firstly, no matter which club you support, whether it is the beautiful Villa, or Manchester, Leeds or Torquay United, the vast majority of football fans will not like the club you support. Secondly, predictions on where clubs finish could never be taken seriously. Last season, for example. Most pundits had Chelsea and Man City fighting for the title, Leicester relegated, and Villa finishing mid table. We know how that all worked out. There are a lot of people out there who have really bad taste and don't like Villa, but that is their loss, so...don't care. Newcastle are heavily favoured, and it is possible that they will win, but certainly not definite. Villa finish 16th? Lets just see about that.
