  1. Spurs 1 - 2 Villa Benteke (24') Kane (69') Delph (89') A man can dream.
  2. Really hoping to see Gil or Grealish get a chance here. QPR's defense is very poor and we should have no problem putting a few in the ol' onion bag. Villa 3 - 1 QPR Guzan Bacuna Okore Clark Lowton Cleverly Delph Gil N'Zogbia Benteke Agbonlahor
  3. I can't understand how Weimann plays over Gil and Grealish... On to Queens Park Raisins!
  4. Still confuses me when anyone says they'd like to see Sanchez in the lineup. He looks lost on the pitch lately, especially against quality opposition.
  5. I honestly think we can win this match for a few reasons. 1 - Our record has been so poor in the past that we're due for a win. I know that you can make the arguement, "We've been saying that for twenty years," but I think this is finally the one where we knick it. The players are different, the managers are different, so let's hope the result is different! A result similar to the Chelsea match last March is what I'm hoping for. 2 - Ron Vlaar. Considering the rumors that have been circulating throughout the year regarding a move to United, and the circumstances of his terrible tackle at the death of the Stoke match, I think Vlaar will display a heroic performance at Old Trafford. If not for Villa, for his own benefit when he inevitably leaves at the end of the season. 3 - I'm an optimist (if you couldn't tell). After all of the crap we've sat through this season, I think we're due for a shock. UTV
  6. Hello, My name is Evan Millard and I live in Rhode Island, the smallest and least-known state in the US. I've played football my entire life and would now consider myself an avid follower of the game. I began watching the Premier League in 2007, and the Villa caught my attention immediately. While my freinds would rave about the "big clubs" like Manchester United and Arsenal, I found solice in supporting a "smaller" club that exuded such incredible passion (I know that we're not a small club but times have certainly changed!). I could feel the energy from across the pond when watching Villa on television every weekend, it was truly incredible. Villa were a team to be respected and Villa Park was a fortress! The team's effort was undoubted, the fans were vibrant and unwaivering, and I felt proud to be part of such a special club. While the club's fortunes have certainly changed, I am as passionate about Villa as ever. Young players like Delph, Grealish and Okore give me hope that there are good times ahead for us. Now all that we need is an owner that gives half of a f*** and we'll be heading back in the right direction! I love Villa and I can't wait to become a part of this community. UTV
