Mods if you could open up the old thread and please merge...
We have a planning application in with the city council! it was made on the 14th
comes under telecommunications determination but also says "Application for a prior notification for the demolition of existing buildings"
not sure if we're the latest club to install antennae on the roof for someone like Huawei, will try and dig through the planning portal (its under application number 2019/05039/PA)
It looks like they are demolishing the Academy/Villa Store? That can't be right surely?

Thanks.
According to the website there are now 4,682 tickets available so not sure whats going on there.
3636, think it's been corrected. So if just over 2k are on the list, I think was around the 700th mark. Fingers crossed I can get one as I had permission last night

Argh gutted. Shows me. Should have bought one and applied for retrospective permission from the missus
Of course now there's a waiting list I could have got one at any time!

I'm expecting I'll miss more than 2 games. I'm aiming to go to 10-15, but having a 1-year-old, I'm sure there will be some weeks where I decide I'd rather stay home and play with her.
What's the alternative? Buy single tickets and then when I feel like I want a season ticket again (which I will in a few years, I'm sure) put myself on a waiting list or hope that Villa still have some available? I'd rather just have a ST, go to most games, and potentially have the option to flog my seat or give it to a mate if I can't go.
And that is going to be the most difficult aspect to convince the missus of!

agreed to an extent, but stuff comes up doesn't it, and it's nice to have the option to get a few quid back if you can't make a game for whatever reason
Absolutely (and apologies, wasn't meant to sound like a moaner) - I am considering getting one myself but am already likely to miss two games (West Ham owing to holiday and think we are also at home on my daughters 3rd birthday) so without the ticket exchange there isn't much point for me.
-
Are we going to have one for 19/20? I'm not sure we are, don't see much point in having a ST if you miss more than 2 games (in all likelihood).

When does the window for renewing close? I assume some will go on sale then, but probably not too many.
I wonder what the cap is? I was hoping to get in to the central upper holte, bah.

Looks like the prices are up by about 10%. £684 for tier 1, ouch.
Yep - hardly surprising though. I'm very tempted, just need to convince the boss!

I think this is a good bit of business personally. Our wings are depleted. Hopefully bringing in El Ghazi on a perm too.

I just saw 4 tickets come up but it wouldn't let me add it to my basket. I'm 2 references plus semi home leg so obviously they are keeping it at 3+. Gutted
Keep trying! I failed a few times.
1 hour ago, omariqy said:Did you have 3 plus game ref by any chance mate?
I only had 2 games, so was fully expecting to allocate to a friend who has 3 games but is already sorted for a ticket. It hasn't asked me for another reference though! Not sure if the sales team will have cottoned this but I suspect it is because the "date" for booking history sales has passed.

Yep - the seat map. The greyed out block changed to without grey for the block in question. Kept refreshing every few mins.

Thanks - I've seen a few come and go today - got lucky with that one. Best of luck getting one.

We're not getting more tickets - just confirmed on AVFCSupport on Twitter. Can't link on this computer as Twitter is blocked at work.

Cost is about £490 isn't it?
Not sure if that is the confirmed @Stevo985 cost. Don't want to be having to pay 8x that for myself

I’ve enquired mate. As a PS4 friend you’re on the list if I hear back
I may be interested in a box with fellow VT'ers, subject to cost.
Thanks

Yep, I agree and I don't think he will.
If there was a game to feature in it would have been last Sunday.
He may never play for us again.
Fingers crossed.

Been to Fulham away twice... lost both times. Our record there is really shocking though... time to turn it around.

It's interesting. I was of the 'wouldn't mind him being replaced once he's got us up' mindset, but (and this possibly should have been blinking obvious) the more we're winning and therefore getting towards achieving promotion, the more that seems ridiculous.
We're playing well. There is a very obvious team spirit. It would be crazy to throw this away for the gamble that is a new manager.
I was exactly the same/am of the same view as you now. All ifs and buts though... we could scrape the play offs still.

Bring it on! We shouldn't be fearing anyone now and rightly so.

Wow. Results have seriously gone our way today. Don't mess this up!

Obviously! Just very surprised it's happening so soon. It's hard to imagine that this would be happening if we hadn't beaten Derby last month. The what if doesn't bear thinking!
