I think you are bang on here. I have read somewhere Emery is interested but has a situation where he cannot move until November. Maybe bonus related? I've had a punt at 6/1 in hope.

I agree, both signings are pragmatic and Dendonker certainly isn't a Gerrard type signing. God forbid we might actually play 4231 now.

thought about him also. Not a light up the sky appointment but would bring a solidity to the team, which we desperately need and he could start Saturday
