Does anyone remember us celebrating our centenary ? I know I was young , but if I recall correctly , to honour the occasion we played the great Leeds side of the seventies , although I think we lost the game , my ooveridng memory , of the game , is the players kicking balls in to each stand before the kick - off .

Can't see that happening again , mlnd you , the way were playing , the balls would probally either end up on the stand roof or in the road .

l remember prince William being asked , why Aston Villa ? He had been guest of honour at the last Wembley final , before the renovation , and although it being , in my opinion , one of the worst finals in history , the prince was overwhelmed at the way the Villa fans sang their hearts out throughout the whole game , and from that day , swore his allegiance .

For me that illustrates what a great club we are , and I honestly don't think there is a more infectious team in the country .

Although it didn't go down well with the critics I happened to enjoy the Counselor , thought Brad Pitt stole the show , without even trying to .

Wolf of Wall street was achingly funny ,but then you realise it's a true story , and tbh , it pays only lip - service to the victims , who must of been , sadly , ruined for the rest of their live. I have to say though , that imo Jonah Hills' performance was oscar worthy. Apparently he was so eager to work with Scorsese , that he took just forty thousand dollars for the part , bless him .

I haven't read the whole thread, I just dont have the inclination to justify i daily actions, one thing I will say that I do is lock myself away from as many people as possible and countless times I have been asked why I do it and my answer is always the same 'I think we are a horrible species' by me locking myself away and getting by on the bare minimum (I have sky but that is only so I can provide myself with the luxury of watching the boxing) my fridge and freezer is nearly always empty because I work pretty much on a buy to eat basis.

 

I don't live that way because of any moral implications I just think that 90% of the time people are words removed and I would prefer to spend as little time around them as possible.
