Hope we score two early on and EMI dials his sh*thousery up to 11.
the referee was the worst I’ve seen this season, and I’ve seen nearly every game we’ve played.
Nowhere near worse than the ref for Lille away.

The Luiz handball properly **** me off. His hand is above his head. It's stupid, it's needless. It's a blatant penalty, and another example of Luiz being a bit of a liability at times, as brilliant as he generally is.
It killed us. It went from us having the momentum, the crowd being well up for it, to the opposite. It absolutely changed the game.
So annoying after we had just wrestled back the momentum. I thought Lenglet could have got to that ball quicker and prevented the corner which led to the penalty.

I honestly think Dibu would've saved all 4 shots.
It's irrelevant.

What really annoyed me was our players getting involved in silly nonsense while Dougie was waiting to take the penalty..

Very weird game. Not often you see a luckier side than tonight’s edition of Olympiacos.
You make your luck. They never stopped believing. We have to show that same attitude next week.

We'll do them next week! No worries!
I think it's well within us to beat them next week. You just couldn't legislate for their last two goals.

And the penalty shout was probably more contact… it’s just arbitrary
But the tug was unnecessary.

That tug by Lenglet, as soft as it was, pure naivety.

Even if we went to their place a goal down I would still fancy our chances.

Not been following the thread, but would I get crucified if I said that objectively I think the ref has been quite strong?
Watch them "Nails"!

The fans need to be motivated and they were in that last 5 minutes, hence, the noise. Olsen not at fault for neither goal, don't just criticise him because it's the easy thing to do.
We can win this.

Rushing things. Let's have some calm heads.

Robin Olsen’s natural expression is that of someone who looks a bag of nerves
doesnt help us fans big man
I thought it visible against Chelsea and that obviously is picked - up by his teammates and, worse, by opponents. He needs to express his assurance and self - confidence, in the same way Emi does. Let's be honest, Emi hasn't been the goalkeeper, he currently is, for that long, but coming to us and representing his Country obviously instilled in him the qualities that now make him, officially, the World No1.

So Garcia failed two drug tests the day before and on the day of his fight against Haney. Missed weight massively and now two failed drug tests. Absolute disgrace.
He's innocent, just like Connor Benn and Canelo. In fact, like every boxer who has failed a drug test.

Not as tough as Lille though.
That remains to be seen.

We really need to go gung - ho tomorrow. Take any unnecessary pressure off Olsen. I really think we can put this itie to bed with the right approach. I'll go with a 3 - 0 victory and an Ollie double.
Come on me Babbys!

Owen Hargreaves said he dosent believe aston villa have a weakness in the side Ferdinand seems to think we will get top 4 too
Not exactly sticking his neck out, is he?

He most likely could.
The evidence suggests otherwise. His attitude seems to suggest a lack of willingness to further his undoubted ability. I wouldn't fancy him at our Gaff. Emery is a lover of concentration and discipline, assests that Sancho maybe lacks, hence, the move back to Germany.

That was some performance from Sancho
Shame he can't do it in the Premier League.

TNT keep reading out his text messages to Ally McCoist, during the match commentary. Makes him sound like he's wading through a bottle of Glenmorangie in his lonely little flat.
Apparently, his wife makes lovely sandwiches, according to one commentator.
I wonder what her fried Mars Bars are Like?

I've just realised it could be a repeat of the bayern vs dortmund final at Wembley, that'd be a good game with hopefully dortmund winning this one
I bet Paul Lambert's happy. He was part of the Dortmund midfield that won the trophy.

Easily the worst commentator in modern football. I hated his guts when I used to watch La Liga, hearing him wet himself in praise for Messi week in and week out got old very fast. He worshipped Messi and wouldn't shut up about him. I was delighted when Messi left Barca because it meant I didn't need to listen to his hero-worshipping again.
Thank god for the mute button.
Tbf, he wasn't a bad player.

The penalty would have helped our cause immensely, but I just know we are capable of going there and getting the right result. An early goal and it's on, "Big Time"!!!
