People complain we spend too little - then they say we spend too much - then they say he must be shit cos he is cheap and then they say it's too much as and he is crap and some say not worth the fee.
When we don't spend it's Lerner is pocketing the money or no way will we spend! The club can't win really as it seems fans know the worth of a player more than the people who actually are involved in this on a regular basis.
Just glad we are spending and on young looking to the future!
Who cares what the cost is? we won't end up like we did in MON days with overpaid over expensive non-resalable players (unless it is the odd older player)

This.Lot of people will be left disappointed I think. Adebayor is Def on the radar. However we just need to be patient. As ever I'll judge at the end of the window.
Also if he is a mature striker as we also buy a young striker, I say go for it. I wouldn't want him on his own but I can go for that.

The same Lerner who sanctioned the increase in bentekes contract and Delphs(even though it ran down) and sanctioned sinclairs and gils etc. not everything bad is down to Lerner.who was ceo whilst letting Delph contract run down.? Was it not thier job to do it.isnt the clause reported to being 8mil but only to top 4 clubs? and the club had no choice in this delph wouldve refused to sign a new contract otherwise
this contract crap is nothing to do with fox its lerner being a cheapy and letting contracts run down

But the thought process was crystal clear. Delph held all the cards and insisted on the clause. The alternative was losing him on a bosman. Why is this so difficult for the likes of Collymore to register?It was interesting to hear Collymore's thoughts on the Delph deal. He was right in questioning the thought process whereby we accept a deal with a get out clause so low that the likes of West Ham or Everton could easily have met.
