    We were always going to be linked with Bamford: fringe player, loaned a lot, up and coming and now add in Chelsea youth player so De Matteo will deffo want him....

    ...just lazy links. 

    I hope we don't just settle this season, we sign players with good attitudes who really help build the squad. If they are free then great, if they cost £12m then so be it. 

    Go on RDM go get em!

    It was my phrasing of the point, not clear. But as for tolerance and equality for all people. I certainly lean more towards the left of the political scale rather than the right ;)

    UKIP thing of maybe not being too welcome to foreign influx into UK, hence being a bit anti-Tony. That's my guess any hoo

    When I was Jacks age I was lazy and ignorant and without the drive or the innate desire to drag myself out of the cycle of disappointment. With his own set of skills and his own inadequacies and you shouldn't write him off based upon your own experiences, or indeed your own perception of his. 

    It shows how weak our structure is to not identify areas of potential trouble, the summer antics was a clear indicator, and assign them a mentor to help Jack focus and learn those behaviour sets to develop as a professional. 

    It may sound odd but I think our staff focussed on trying to halt a slide with tactics / fitness and completely forgot about the morale / human side. The results were the side effect of a disenfranchised group of players, lacking a positive togetherness who were willing to fight tooth and nail for each other, let alone the club. It's one cog in the machine that I feel didn't get due care or attention.

    Tim - stick it in the onion bag - Sherwood was a motivator but not a tactician.

    Remi - the professor mkII - Garde was a good tactician but may not be a natural motivator.

    We need a more experienced coach who can do both now, this would help Grealish et al. develop.

    You would hope most players in the Prem could do a job skills wise, but their mentality and attitude is what varies most. We need a strong ethos from the top down, hopefully the takeover will allow that and have a solid spine with a strong ethic. 

    No more signings like this one please.

    Obstacles = questions about finance and background checks on board members, so probably Samuelson a potential "obstacle". 

    It's just a quality assurance process though it's full of obstacles, why do people have to spout crap on Twitter for attention. Especially two contradicting views with hours of each other.

    Nope, I make my judgements based on either Candy Crush Saga or Angry Birds. 

    I do think Pearson would ace Bobby Di Mateo on a Battlefield though.

    I for one am going to support the appointment, when it happens. If, as reports say, is RDM then let's see what he can do with us. Balls to WBA, Chelsea and Schalke, this is a chance for him to build something and for us to possibly cheer something. Let's see what happens......

    He needs to get his s**** together before he can claim to be better than Championship - one good game against Chelsea in the Champions League doesn't make a hero! Otherwise half of the Basel team would be knighted by now.
