One of the best things about the rubber badges, you can get details like this
The other great thing is that it is easy to wipe clean after celebrating a victory

Seems he had a really good game last outing, yesterday I think ( Just saw highlights on BEIN )
Scored and assisted, would have had more assists if the attackers around him weren't turd.
Some great through balls and skill.
Well that means he will be injured for the next 3 months now then.

I had doubts that VP would be rocking tonight,
I don't know why, as it's the last home game of the season, we are playing Liverpool and can potentially confirm CL qualification.

Isn’t it better than nothing or some cheap looking plastic banners ?
The answer might possibly be yes! As the OP said, it's a bit half-cocked and poorly executed. Painting brickwork black and then over-painting the graphics would have been an improvement.

As fans it’s all out of our control.
That's not true, as we can influence the players by fully supporting the team and being positive.

I hope they paint the all the exposed brickwork, as it looks a bit like some random person has graffitied the side of the building atm.

Its such a waste of energy worrying about things that are out of your control. Who knows what will happen in the Arsenal and Man city games?! If we take care of business neither of these even matter, so it's best to get cheering the team on Monday as loudly as possible and stop stressing over the rest.

Unai said to the interviewer the other day that he only wanted to hear positivity. That's what every fan should give between now and the end of the season, otherwise they probably don't deserve to watch CL football.
I'll tell Unai to keep the **** away from this thread until the end of the season then!

Sure it's been mentioned before.mate... but they have a bizarrely good record against Man City.
It's even a running joke with Pep.
Anyway, I'm just being a bit fickle and worried.
I previously mentioned before that I just hope we can put out one final monumental effort and turn over Liverpool or at least get a point.
I think you can only judge it on this manager and set of players. Spurs haven't beaten man city this season... They drew with them in Manchester and were beaten by them in the FA Cup at home.i wouldn't really call that a good record.

2-1.That's about as good as we could realistically hope for.

Have Burnley scored too early?! This spurs team seem to only come to life after they go behind.

Duran needs a run of games or at least to start a few and I was surprised that he wasn't used more in the cup competitions. He is impatient for games and emery doesn't want to use him enough. That's what makes me think that we will probably end up asking for a move elsewhere.

Think he sealed his departure with two no-pressure passes out of play, one in each leg.
Type of thing I imagine Unai never forgets.
We would have no players left if we sold them because of 2 misplaced passes!

Considering what has been said about him, I think he gives a quite good impression there. As a supporter living abroad I really like the idea of beefing up the match day experience with activities both before and after the game. It's something I have thought about and missed when I have travelled to games.
Heck has a track record of saying one thing and doing something different, so let's see if he actually delivers on the things he mentions in the interview.

Pool are also out of the title race and will probably save their energy for the big A field send off. Or do I hope
We were all guns blazing against olympiakos, but because of the injuries the gun is more like a water pistol right now.

Agreed.
But Torres can’t do what Mings does. Defend.
He’s slow, weak and poor in the air. No amount of fancy passing is going to mask that.
Nobody wants to hear it, I get it.
In preseason Pau played as LB, with mings and Konsa in the middle. I think he will try that again and will give us the best of both worlds.

Waiting for the meltdown when spurs beat Burnley

The amount of negativity on this thread is ridiculous!

Maybe it would have been different if we didn't have so many injuries. But with the players we had over 2 legs we didn't deserve anything.
Let's not **** up 4th spot otherwise that will be a real kick on the teeth.
-
Not very hopeful after seeing that lineup. 5 at the back and absolutely no options to change things from the bench. Only plus is that Emi is back.
-
For me, I think it will be a case of first goal wins it. If we get it then more will follow. If they get it then I think it will deflated the players and will be game over.

In some ways it might actually be an advantage to be behind going into the second leg. We go into the match fully focused on what we need to do with no pressure. Olympiakos has something to lose and If we score first the pressure is all on them and their supporters will get edgy. We get a second and I think they will fall apart.

Over to you spurs! I was going to give Duran motm but if it wasn't for Diaby then Duran doesn't get in the position to score.
